I've yet to meet someone personally thats actually seen the film, but nevertheless this is a great movie. Its about two punk rockers from Salt Lake City, Utah and they're way of life in 1985. The main characters a punk with blue hair (Matthew Lillard) and his best friend Heroin Bob (Michael Goorjian..?). It may not sound like it but its an extremely good movie. GO OUT AND SEE IT!!!!

I guess I am ashamed to say, I have seen EVERY Matt Lillard film to date.

I am one of those weirdo's who see a movie with someone in it they REALLY enjoy, so they go see everything they can with them in it.

I have a few people I watch everything for. reguardless of film quality. ;)

I tried to order that for the store a while back and our distributers no longer carry it. It would have to be a special order directly form the film company, thus making it too expensive. My DM would never go for it.

Is it any good...

I havent found it anywhere around here to rent or buy.

Does anyone know who does the punk rock song in SLC Punk with the "yodel" in it? It's in the scene when Stevo and Bob go get beer in Wyoming. I love it and it isn't on the soundtrack. I would totally like you if you could help me out.

For some reason I thought you would say, "I saw this movie and It is the biggest piece of crap I have ever seen" or something like that. Cause this movie was great, I mean I loved everything about It. The first time I saw It a couple of years ago on IFC I was amazed, the ending caught me off guard.

The song you're looking for is called Beat My Guest by Adam and the Ants. You can hear it on youtube.

And in addition, this movie is AWESOME! #1 I like Matthew Lilliard's acting style, and #2 I'm punk! And its just got a lot of cool imagery and musical taste. SLC PUNK! is a good movie. I don't know why they didn't use that song on the soundtrack.

This movie was a great one. It always seems to slip my mind. It's really simple but amusing. The ending breaks my heart a little everytime tho ;]

Amazing movie. Does anyone know what song is playing during the fight with the police over "suspicions?" It's the scene before they go to Wyoming. It's also playing during the party when Stevo is introducing the mod kid, john.
