Delhi belly is playing a pivotal role to indian cinema..special focus on screenplay, art direction, and characters. Rarther than star power
It is pleasant to see snippets of the songs in the movie.
and the new comers poorna jaggannath(my fav), kunal roy kapoor, n vir das and their awesome performances
loved the saighal blues in the beginning of the movie, is a welcome surprise. Kudos to ram sampath, The details in the art direction is where the film picks up, and the dialogues take it to a high which never comes down..
Even thou the movie is full of coincidences, most of which seem a lil unreal, but guess they have bin put in just for making the movie more interesting, and are so called cliche "indian element"
The richness is shown in the small elements, and parallel story lines put in by the director - making all the difference
Apart from the crude language, and filth the movie, and the disturbing sounds of the kunal kapoors encounters with the pot. The movie does give a deeper meaning of showcasing how we are stuck running after one thing, or away from the other (dk bose), forgetting what is really important to us. which is again the journey and doing what you enjoy, and not running after senseless aspirations and wants.
And yes **** Happens in life!!
