I can already tell that North By Northwest is going to win by a landslide, as it should. I really like Reservoir Dogs, but Tarantino will never be on the same level as Hitchcock.

Yeah, who knows? Big surprise you didn't "bother" to watch it, though. Very out of your character. But yeah, I see where you're coming from. Odds are that if people had "bothered" to watch Algiers they would have voted for Royale, like the other eight people didn't. What a shame.

I didn't say that Battle Royale would've won had, I just wondered how many people had seen Battle Royale, didn't watch Battle Algiers and so couldn't vote. I could've been the only one. Had I watched "Battle" I can almost guarentee that I wouldn't have voted for it over Battle Royale because of how much I like Battle Royale. As I've said before, I can't see myself voting for a film I've seen for the first time over a favourite, as I'm voting for the film I like/enjoy most and not 'the best'.

I've not watched any of the films I'd not already seen in this tournament.
