This place looks so full and busy I might just get so lost in it all, and my head will explode because of it! One reason I liked the look of this messageboard and decided to join. :D

^ I don't read manga, but yes the film is indeed stunning and it's my second favourite all time Animation, wonderful stuff. Does it do the manga justice?

I don't read much manga myself, but I've heard this is one of the best. For the part of the manga it covers, the film does it great justice. I'm not done with all of it though. The manga stretches twice as long as the film.

Re: Nausicaa. The manga started in 1982 (2 years before the movie) and ran off and on until the early 90s so the story was being written and added to for about 10 years after the release of the movie. It's been a while since I read/watched it, but I'm pretty sure it's more than twice as long as the movie.
