Since Brian and Mia Toretto broke Dom out of custody, they've blown across many borders to elude authorities. Now backed into a corner in Rio de Janeiro, they must pull one last job in order to gain their freedom. As they assemble their elite team of top racers, the unlikely allies know their only shot of getting out for good means confronting the corrupt businessman who wants them dead. But he's not the only one on their tail. Hard-nosed federal agent Luke Hobbs never misses his target. When he is assigned to track down Dom and Brian, he and his strike team launch an all-out assault to capture them. But as his men tear through Brazil, Hobbs learns he can't separate the good guys from the bad. Now, he must rely on his instincts to corner his prey... before someone else runs them down first. (plot IMDB)

Well first of i love the fast and furious series so i was really looking forward to this and after watching this i'd have to say it is by far the best out of all the fast and furious movies, loads of action throughout the whole movie, cars, girls, gun fights, oh and The Rock in by far his best movie yet. Okay the movie is cheesy, the acting is bad and some scenes are really silly, but the movie was still a good movie to watch and i left the cinema happy and looking forward to the next installment.

http://unrealitymag.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/05/fast5-465x310.jpg

Something that made this movie a little different from the rest was that it felt alot more like a action movie and the cars didn't really play much of a part this time, also The Rock brought something new and the scenes with him and Diesel were cool (cheesy but still good to watch haha). If you like all the other fast and furious movies you will love this because its by far the best, i'd put them in this order myself.

Fast Five
Fast and Furious
fast and furious 4
fast and furious tokyo drift
2 fast 2 furious

4

ok i aint rating this on acting or story cause then it would suck, so ime rating this on how i enjoyed it as a action movie.

BATMAN
Directed by Tim Burton

Well With all the talk and news all over the internet about the Dark Knight Rises i thought i would go back and watch Tim Burton's 2 Batman movies, starting with this.

http://www.cantstopthemovies.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/01/thejoker-money-.jpg

After a young boy witnesses his parents' murder on the streets of Gotham City, he grows up to become the Batman - a mysterious figure in the eyes of Gotham's citizens - who takes crime-fighting into his own hands. He first emerges out of the shadows when the Joker appears - a horribly disfigured individual who is out for revenge on his former employer and generally likes to have a good time.

Well first of i am a huge fan of Tim Burton's batman movies, Nolans are great aswell but i just love the feel and touch that Burton gave his batman films, Tho i prefer Batman Returns over his first installment, this was still a great movie. Jack Nicholson's performence of the joker was brilliant, he's funny, scary and crazy all rolled in to one and i couldn't see anyone fitting the role better than him. Michael Keaton as Batman was great aswell, tho some people, well most people may disagree i think that he is the best batman we have seen on the big screen so far, i think better than Bale myself. This movie brings a great comic book feel to it and tho silly sometimes Burton done everything just perfect with this, the story, the casting, the action, everything was great and i can't really fault it.

http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_DKcZQ4C7Ij8/SgkPIrP-nWI/AAAAAAAAAxA/fq4Q3_9oVuE/s320/batman1.jpg

overall ime not gonna try and compare Nolan's and Burton's batman movies because both Directors went a different way and had a different approach on things, but ime big fan of what they both done and ime a big fan of what Burton done with this.

BATMAN: RETURNS
Directed by: Tim Burton

Well last night i checked out Tim Burton's second Batman movie Batman Returns. I forget how good this movie is.

Having defeated the Joker, Batman now faces the Penguin - a warped and deformed individual who is intent on being accepted into Gotham society. Crooked businessman Max Schreck is coerced into helping him become Mayor of Gotham and they both attempt to expose Batman in a different light. Earlier however, Selina Kyle, Max's secretary, is thrown from the top of a building and is transformed into Catwoman - a mysterious figure who has the same personality disorder as Batman. Batman must attempt to clear his name, all the time deciding just what must be done with the Catwoman.

http://www.moviemobsters.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/10/batman_returns.jpg

Batman Returns in my opinion is Tim Burtons best work by far, what he did with this movie was fantastic, all the characters looked amazing, Gotham city looked amazing, everything just felt dark and scary and all tone with the movie. The villains in the movie i think are the best ive seen in any movie, catwoman played very well by the sexy Michelle Pfeiffer is a great character and Burton made her exactley how she should be (well for me anyway haha). The Penguin just wobbles about the whole film looking very scary indeed, And danny devito was casted perfect for the role. From start to finish this movie never lets you get bored and even tho the story doesnt centre around batman and more focuses on the villains of the movie, i think that worked well and was very clever by Burton.

Overall Batman Returns is a fantastic movie full of everything you want from a Batman film, sexy catwoman, alot of action, good story and alot of batman kicking a**.

I think i rated this a little lower a while back in my best of the year list but after watching this again i loved it even more.

Sadly the trailer for Change-Up isn't really grabbing me at all.

When I originally heard about it I was very interested as body swap films can be good fun and I'm a big fan of both Bateman and Reynolds. Hopefully it turns out to be better than the trailer indicates

TERMINATOR SALVATION
Directed by McG

http://thefilmtalk.com/wp-content/uploads/terminator-salvation-marcus.jpg
''Better With A Second Viewing''

In 2003, in the Longview State Correctional Facility, the criminal Marcus Wright that is in the death row is convinced by the cancerous Dr. Serena Kogan to donate his body to her research and he accepts. In 2018, after an unsuccessful attack to a Skynet facility, only John Connor survives, but he discovers that Skynet is developing the powerful new model T-800. Out of the blue, Marcus appears naked and with amnesia in the location. Marcus befriends the teenager Kyle Reese and the girl Star that help him to survive to lethal machines and they travel together in a Jeep. Meanwhile the resistance discovers a signal that might turn-off the machines and John offers to test it. When Kyle is captured by a machine and brought to the Skynet headquarter, Marcus decides to help the youngster and heads to Skynet; on the way, he saves Blair Williams that suggests him to meet John Connor first. But Marcus steps on a mine and is submitted to a surgery, when a secret about his origins is disclosed.

Well i went to see this movie back when it very first came out at the cinema and i left feeling pretty dissapointed, Last night i decided to re-watch it and i found it alot better than my first viewing. Ok it is alot different from the other terminator movies that i grew up to but does that mean its a bad thing??, No not really, Terminator Salvation isnt all bad. Christian Bale, well when i first read some reviews about this movie he seemed to of got crapped on alot and i don't think he was even that bad, okay not his best role but he certainley wasn't bad. Sam Worthington aswell got alot of abuse about his role in my local newspapers and magazines, but to me i thought he did a good job. The Robots where all cool and looked great, ok the story was a little messy but the action was great and the movie flowed quite nicely.

Overall my second viewing was a better experience, no probelms with the sound in the cinema this time, no loud kids sitting infront of us at the cinema messing about the whole film, just me on my own and i enjoyed it alot more this time.

ALPHA AND OMEGA
Diected by Anthony Bell and Ben Gluck

http://www.onlinemovieshut.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/alpha-and-omega.jpg
''Not The Best Of The Bunch, But Not Bad At All''

In Jasper National Park, the wolves, Kate and Humphrey, have known each other since puppyhood, but they are on the oppose ends of the Western Pack's social structure with Kate as the energetic Alpha daughter of the pack leader and Humphrey being the good humoured Omega. That social structure forces Kate to accept an arranged marriage with Garth of the Eastern Pack to unite the packs for peace, regardless of Humphrey's hopeless attraction for her. Before that union can occur, Kate and Humphrey are captured by the park's rangers and sent to an Idaho park as part of a wolf repopulation project. Mindful of her duties, Kate is determined to return to Jasper and Humphrey offers to help with the assistance of two odd geese. However, as this disparate pair struggle through the dangers to get home, a growing mutual appreciation of their talents and then a deeper love threatens to disastrously complicate everything if they make it back.

Well i really enjoyed this movie, just recentley ive been watching alot of animated movies its like my thing at the moment and i thought this was a nice little movie that kids and adults would enjoy. From start to finish the movie grabs you and takes you along for the ride so kids certainley wouldn't get bored with whats going on and it also has a good little story. I read alot of bad reviews on this movie, some terrible one's actually and i don't really see why. A review i read said that the movie was to predictable and a runt in the 2010 animated litter, haha to predictable what was he expecting a kids film with a Inception plot.

Overall i enjoyed this movie and kids would love it.

CARS 4
Directed by: John Lassater and Joe Ranft

http://bestcars1.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/05/Cars-Movie.jpg
''Really Good Animated Movie''

Lightning McQueen is a young, hotshot rookie race car in the last race of the season. At the end of the race, he finds out he is tied with Chick Hicks and The King. On the way to the tie-breaker race in Los Angeles, California, some hot punk cars get him lost in a little town called Radiator Springs on the old Route 66 road, which has been long forgotten many years ago. Scared to death, he tears up the town's main road and is sentenced to community service by Doc Hudson. During this time, he meets a funny, but lovable tow truck named Mater and a beautiful Porsche Carrera named Sally. He also meets some other cars, whom which he finds to be quite odd. All he wants to do is get out of this town and back into the big city, but as the week until the race goes on, the town folk help him discover that life isn't just about trophies, fame, and sponsorships and McQueen learns about family and friendship.

Well this is the first time i have seen Cars and i loved it, great entertainment throughout the whole movie and a animated movie not just aimed at kids. Well when thinking about this movie i always thort it would be a silly story that didnt make much sense but i was pleasantly surprised, the story held itself very well and for a movie just about cars it really worked great. The characters are all great (even tho owen wilsons voice annoys me haha), Mater i loved he had me laughing all the time, all the characters where great and worked really well. I read some reviews on this movie and it seems to be Pixar's least favourite movie in the eyes of critics and i don't see how, i found it more enjoyable than Finding Nemo, Monsters Inc and A bugs Life.

Overall really fun movie with fun characters, fun story and it was a fun watch.

To me Cars had the weakest universe among all Pixar movies.. Hopefully my views change with the second movie.

NAVY SEALS

Directed By: Lewis Teague

http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_91s-Zkod9Gc/TRrLD0tGcHI/AAAAAAAAK78/SAi0sr5ECdM/s1600/Navy%2BSEALS.jpg
''Great Action Movie From Start To Finsh''

A Navy Seals team was sent to rescue some Americans who were being held captive. And it's during the rescue that Stinger missiles were discovered in the enemy's possesion. The team leader opted to leave rather than destroy them. But in doing so, terrorists now have them in there possesion the perfect terrorist weapon. So, they have to be found, so that they can be destroyed, but this won't be easy for the Seals.

Well i checked this out earlier today for the first time and it was a pretty good action movie, alot of good action scenes, good gun fights, car chases, cool parachute jump scenes and alot of other stuff you would expect from a movie like this, it has it all if your into your action movies. Charlie Sheen i love, tho his personal problems are everywhere at the moment i love his movies, Young Guns, Hot Shots and his tv show Two and A Half Men, so Navy Seals will also be added to that list, his character in this movie was good fun, crazy navy seal and who better to play crazy ay haha. Michael Biehn also plays his character James Curran well, tho not as good of a character as sheen's but still very likeable.

overall this movie skipped my radar, not really seen or heard of this movie so ime glad that i found it, good little action movie that most action fans will enjoy.

''Edge Of Your Seat Action Throughout''
Ellen Ripley, the sole survivor of the alien attack on the mining ship Nostromo, awakens half a century later when she is found by a salvage ship. The welcome given to her by the "Company" officials is far from warm, since they refuse to believe her discovery of alien existence and strip her off her flight officer's license. Ripley also discovers, much to her horror, that the planet LV-426 where her crew had encountered an alien species for the first time, is now colonized by the company. But when all contact from the planet is lost Ripley is called back into action again as an advisor to a team of tough space marines with lots of firepower. To get rid of her recurrent nightmares about the alien creature, Ripley prepares for a final battle with the monsters - and this time, there are hundreds of them out there.

Well i watched Aliens for the first time last night and it was fantastic, this was a movie i enjoyed alot and ime sorry i waited so long to watch it. The problem i have with old movies is that i can't really get into them, Aliens tho is 25 years old and it still looked great today, the Alien looked great, the guns sounded great, the whole effect and the way things looked were fantastic and i think this could be my favourite James Cameron movie. From start to finish was just edge of your seat action and the ending topped everything brilliantly, tho some say that the movie is a fantastic horror and scary i myself didn't really feel scared one bit, but it is a intense movie. Sigourney Weaver and Michael Biehn both do great performances and Bill Paxton does great aswell, Whatever happened to Michael Biehn anyway, Great in this movie, great in Navy Seals, Great in terminator and then nothing, i like this guy in these action movies aswell. Overall Aliens was a brilliant movie that i am going to purchase on Blue Ray when i get the chance i loved it.

PLEASE watch Alien next and give it serious attention. It's not like Aliens and I saw Aliens first too and was underwhelmed by Alien afterwards because it was slower, but I recently rewatched it and thought it was better than Aliens.

I just watched Alien 3 again and I think it's bad. Do NOT watch it before Alien. There's only one alien in it, it's boring and it's also depressing as hell. It kills the reason for Aliens even existing (Newt and Hicks are dead right from the beginning).

''Pace was a problem for me''

Summary-While returning from a deep-space mission, the crew of the commercial spaceship Nostromo is awakened by a supposed SOS call from a system they are passing through. Descending to the planet's surface, they discover a strange derelict spaceship - the apparent source of the transmission - and one of the crew descends into the hold. What he finds are thousands of strange alien eggs. While examining one of the eggs, it hatches and the parasite inside attacks him. After returning to the Nostromo the crew takes off again to head for Earth. The alien parasite subsequently dies and all seems well again. But what no one knows is that another alien is quietly forming within its host - and when it emerges, the crew finds itself in serious trouble.

Well i'll start by saying i think it was a bad idea to watch Aliens before i watched this, everything in Aliens was just bigger and better and it may have clouded my judgement on this. Alien i will say this looks way ahead of its time, 1979 it was released and watching this for the first time you wouldn't even think it, well thats my opinion anyway. The problems i did have with this movie was its pace, everything just seemed to drag and nothing was happening, the Alien (which looked great) came along in the last half hour of the movie and i think i got like 4 looks at it and even they was for a very short period.

Sigourney Weaver Who play's Ellen Ripley as most of you all know already does a good performance but for me thats about it, the rest of the cast i thought were pretty boring and if you was to compare Ripley in this to her in James Cameron's Aliens she even seems abit boring. The characters also don't even seemed bothered about the Alien haha i don't think any of them even looked romotley scared and that just took alot of the intensity out of this movie for me. I know ime saying alot of bad things about this movie and its wasn't at all bad, but i wouldnt say it was great either. Overall it was a good watch and maybe i didnt find it as good as a lot of people because i seen Aliens first, or maybe its because ime only watching it now for the first time i don't know but it was worth the watch anyway.

Well, it's been years since I watched it and I know a lot of people would disagree with this, but, YES. I think you should give it a watch. It is a more of an action movie like Aliens. Alien and Alien 3 are more alike because they're darker and there's only one alien, while Aliens and Alien: Resurrection both have a lot of aliens and a lot of guns and shooting.

Alien: Resurrection came out in movie theatres when I was 14, not long after I had seen Aliens, and I went to see it because I was in love with Aliens at the time. I was not disappointed. But it's been years since I've seen it.

Plus, Ripley is part alien in the movie because she's been cloned and she has some alien DNA in her.

''Is This Even A Alien Movie''

Ripley has left the alien planet behind for good but for some reason, her spaceship crashes into another remote planet. She survives but Hicks and Newt, the only others to survive the previous frightening ordeal, are killed. Ripley is saved by a group of twenty-five men who live solitary lifes, some of them prison guards, others prisoners. Most of them haven't seen a woman in years, but that's not what scares Ripley. Neither Hicks or Newt have been infected with the alien, but even still, she has their bodies cremated. And then the deaths begin to occur. At first it seems accidental enough, but then one of the convicts witnesses the creature. Ripley knows that her nightmare has resurfaced, but this time her only hope lies in a bunch of misfits without training, morals, and even weapons.

Well i'll start by just saying that this movie suck's. David Fincher the man behind Seven, The social Network, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button and one of my favourite movies ever Fight Club was behind this, it can't be the same David Fincher can it?, yes it can. Alien 3 was terrible from the very start when we see Newt, Hicks and Bishop all killed off in the first 5 minutes, after everything they went through in the last movie, all the pain, the terror, the Aliens there just killed of like that and it's a big disappointment straight away. Then there's the story, well what story should be the question. The story is just forced along throughout the whole movie and it loses its way alot, this was clearly a movie using the name of the franchise to make some easy money.

Ripley is not the same character that we see from the previous Alien movies, she's far from it, infact it's like a whole new character and its a shame as i liked her alot in Aliens. The other characters are all just dull and not likeable at all, i didn't care about any of them and i couldn't wait for the Alien to come along and just do its thing. Now onto the Alien itself, Wow it looked terrible, all these years after the previous 2 movies and they managed to make the thing look worse and i mean alot worse.

overall this movie had bad acting, bad story, bad Alien, bad Ripley, bad everything really the movie felt really cheap and clearly lost its way away from the other 2 movies, i don't know what Fincher was trying to do.

Quick question that might sound stupid. The alien out of the first movie, is that the alien that burst out of the mans chest, also the the Alien that comes out of the dog is that the one thats running around in Alien 3. i only ask because how do they get so big so fast lol.

(Alien Resurrection)

http://content9.flixster.com/photo/10/46/58/10465835_gal.jpg
''Why Does This Alien Look Funny''

It is 200 years since Ellen Ripley died on Fiorina 161. Ripley's former employers, The Weyland-Yutani Company has dissolved and now the United Systems Military has assumed the task of breeding and harnessing the deadly aliens. With blood samples taken from her previous life, scientists clone a new Ripley in order to extract the queen alien inside of her. The new Ripley, known as number 8, acquires physical and emotional traits from both humanity and the aliens, making her question where her allegiances lie. Shortly after, the aliens break free and commence killing those onboard. Ripley, along with a crew of smugglers that unknowingly helped in delivering hosts to breed the alien species, must now escape the perilous ship. Along the way, Ripley encounters a shocking revelation that truly sets herself against both humanity and the alien species. She must now decide what she truly is, in order to save humanity once more.

Well over the last few nights i've checked all the Alien movies out for the first time, they have had there high's and lows so what did i think of the final movie in the series. Well Alien Resurrection or Alien 4 what ever you want to call it wasn't a bad movie, tho its not the best in the series its a whole lot better than Alien 3. The characters i enjoyed alot in this movie Ripley ( Sigourney Weaver) has now been cloned so she isn't the same as we remember her from the past movies, but she is alot better than she was in the third movie so i think the directer went the right way with her. Winona Ryder also added to the cast for this movie done a really god job and also Hell Boy, sorry i mean Ron Perlman did a good job, tho everytime i seen him i was thinking Hell Boy.

Well the story wasn't great but it worked, its the Aliens tho, the Aliens looked really bad again and the one at the end of the movie, well what was that thing a skeleton Alien, that one looked really bad. Overall tho alot better than Alien 3 but not as good as the other 2 movies still was worth the watch tho. Well thats them all watched and reviewed now, i think i'll leave the AVP series haha.

No, that's the best thing about the film. That kid was so annoying, I was hoping she'd get killed in the 2nd bloody film. Annoying, whiney little ****. She was worse than the cat in the first one. Alien 3 rules... Well, it rules the Alien series, which isn't saying much.

I do agree that the addition of Winonna Ryder is much appreciated in the fourth film. She's the best thing about it.

''Great Dark Comedy, Very Funny''

Osbourne Cox, a Balkan expert, is fired at the CIA, so he begins a memoir. His wife wants a divorce and expects her lover, Harry, a philandering State Department marshal, to leave his wife. A diskette falls out of a gym bag at a Georgetown fitness center. Two employees there try to turn it into cash: Linda, who wants money for elective surgery, and Chad, an amiable goof. Information on the disc leads them to Osbourne who rejects their sales pitch; then they visit the Russian embassy. To sweeten the pot, they decide they need more of Osbourne's secrets. Meanwhile, Linda's boss likes her, and Harry's wife leaves for a book tour. All roads lead to Osbourne's house.

Well iv'e never really seen anything from the Coen Brothers, so this was the first time i had seen this movie and i must say i enjoyed every minute of it. The cast are what make this movie everything that it is, Clooney, Pitt, Malkovich, McDormand all the cast played there characters so well and made this movie so fun to watch. Brad Pitt was my favourite playing Chad, Pitt was funny from the first time we see him and just the smallest things he did made me laugh. Osbourne Cox (malkovich) was another really funny character and again i laughed at the smallest things he did. The movie started abit slow, but by the end of it everything had fitted so well together and for a dark comedy i laughed alot, the characters and the story where just so stupid, but it was a good thing and thats why it worked so well.

Overall this movie was a really good watch and ime going to check some other Coen movies out now because of this.

(Scarface)

http://www.reverseshot.com/files/images/pre-issue22/scarface2.jpg
''The Rise And Fall''

An update of the 1932 film, Scarface (1983) follows gangster Tony Montana and his close friend Manny Ray from their trip on the Cuban Boat Lift for refugees to their arrival in Miami. After killing a powerful Cuban figure, Montana and company gain the ability to leave their refugee camps and roam around the U.S. After unsuccessfully trying to make it legitamately in the country, Montana and Ray resort to selling cocaine to dealers around the world. Tony's rise is quick, but as he becomes more powerful, his enemies and his own paranoia begin to plague his empire.

Well back when i was younger this was my favourite movie ever, i used to watch it all the time till the point i got a little tired of it, i decided to watch it again a few weeks ago and tho i didn't enjoy it nearly as much as i did back when i was young, it was still a good watch. The story in this movie is what i love, the rise and fall of Tony Montana. Tony ( Al Pacino) is a fantastic character, proabaley one of the most popular characters to come out of a gangster movie, everywhere you go now you can buy, scaraface picture frames, scarface picture canvases, bedding, cups everything really. Whats interesting in this movie is there is no good guy, Tony Montana is who we love and is that really a good thing, do we love people like that in the real world, no, so why is Tony Montana such a likeable character?. From start to finsh scarface never gets boring or slows down and for a movie with a running time of nearly 3 hours thats a good thing.

Overall good movie, i know there is a few people that havn't seen it on here, which i seen in another thread and use should really check this out. Some great little soundtracks, action, good story and Al Pacino gives us a few laughs aswell, tho i dont think its intended... but oh well.

''What You Want From A Jackass Movie''

'Jackass 3D' opens with the entire cast all lined up, each wearing a different color of the rainbow, in front of a rainbow colored background, each in turn being attacked in various ways. Some of the footage is slowed down for maximal effect. This is repeated again at the end of the movie with additional explosions mixed in with gallons of water to wash away the cast- chaos is resumed. Throughout the movie the team are subjected to the usual foray of physical abuse from team members or perform hilarious stunts (including some of the more stomach turning stunts such as the Sweat suit cocktail, Toy Train Eruption and Poo Cocktail Supreme - not for the weak stomached!)

Well all Johnny Knoxville and the gang return for the third movie of the series, but is there anything new?. Well i love Jackass, the tv shows and the movies and this was my favourite movie of them all. Ok we all know you can't judge these movies on acting or story but aslong as they make us laugh then we all seem to be happy with that and jackass 3 certainly delivers that. The pranks are funny, sick, Violant everything that make's jackass funny is here but bigger and better. Ok Jackass has been around for a while now and some of the stunt's do feel a little forced and a little fake but the gang seem to be having a alot of fun and that's what i love to watch and what i love about Jackass.

Overall Jackass is a fun entertaining movie to watch, it has you laughing alot and thats what i watch these movies for. As long as Jackass movie's keep coming out i'll keep watching them and in my opinion i think each one has got a little better and a little crazier.

(Knocked Up)

http://www.screenhead.net/wp-content/uploads/2008/11/knockedup.jpg
''Very Funny Comedy''

Ben Stone (Seth Rogers) has no Job, his real only ambition is to sit around all day with his friends (Jason Segel), (Jonah Hill) smoking drugs, living off money he got in a accident years earlier and building a website that pin points when girls are naked in movies. Alison Scott (Katherine Heigl) on the other hand is a woman with a great career on a television show and has just been promoted. While out celebrating her promotion with her sister Debbie (Leslie Mann) in a local nightclub Alison meets Ben, after alot of drinking, dancing and goofing around the pair end up sleeping together. The following morning Alison realises that Ben isn't the perfect guy and certainly not the guy for her so they go there own way's. Fast forward 8 weeks and alison is pregnant, is Ben ready to be a dad, is Alison ready to be a mum, are they even ready to be together.

Well i know there are alot of people on here that hate this movie, i've even seen it on a few members top 100 worst movies list, but i love this movie. I think Seth Rogan is hilarious in this movie, ok the movie is abit sloppy in some places, but i think the story was solid enough, the characters are great and it was something a little different. Leslie Mann and Paul Rudd scene's are great, she's the crazy bitch wife, and he is the husband who sits and just takes it all, alot of dry humour from Paul Rudd along the way. Seth Rogan and his gang of dope heads are great aswell, alot of silly, stupid things come from them ( Like the red eye scene, from farting on each other pillows haha).

Knocked up has a great score on most movie website's and i can see why. From start to finsh its entertaining, funny and a enjoyable movie to watch (even if the sex scene is uncomfortable to watch).

''One Of Sandler's Best''

Happy Gilmore (Adam Sandler) is a Ice Hockey Player, (Well He thinks he is) who happens to have a crazy and powerful slap shot. Gilmore's bad temper and crappy skating ability is part of the reason he can't make it as a hockey player and is the reason no team will pick him. Happy's grandmother who has raised him since he was a child hasn't paid the taxes on her home for years and she owes alot of money out, her house and the house happy's grandfarther had built is about to be seized. Happy's grandma has to move to a retirement home till they can come up with the money to get her house back........... and well lets cut to the chase Happy turns to golf to try and get the money.

Well Happy Gilmore was part of the reason i used to like Adam Sandler, this is probabley one of them better movies he has done, one where is was funny and enjoyable to watch, so when i seen this was on the tv the other night i had to watch it. Happy Gilmore is, stupid, crazy, over the top, stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid, and more stupid but it is a damm good entertaining movie and funny movie that i think everyone loves. Adam Sandler back here was a really funny guy and in this movie his over the top antics are great, fighting with old people, smashing things up, fighting with aligators all make for a funny movie. Carl Weathers (Apollo) who plays chubbs i love aswell, ime used to seeing Weathers as a juiced up action guy so seeing him like this was amusing, also look out for Ben Stiller hahah.

(The Hangover Part II)

http://cdn.sheknows.com/articles/2011/05/hangover-2-review.jpg
''Have I Seen This Movie Before?''

Well the plot to this movie i could easily take from the first film but here we go. The Wolfpack are back Phil, Stu, Alan and Doug as they swap Vegas for Thailand to see stu get married. Stu is worried this time and settles for a quite pre-wedding brunch instead, but as we all already know that doesnt happen.

Well the Hangover Part 2, or should we just say a remake to the Hangover because thats all it basically is, it brings nothing new to the table, nothing at all, the jokes are the same and the story is the same. The one thing that the people behind the Hangover part 2 do manage to do in this movie, what they didn't do in the original is make the characters everyone loved in the first movie, everyone enjoyed watching, then f*ck them up. This wasn't a sequel, it should never be able to be even described as that, everything in this movie is the same. Okay the movie has changed a few minor details, but the story is the same, the jokes are the same, everything about the movie is the same. This movie was made for one thing only and it wasn't for the viewers enjoyment, it was for MONEY, they took the success from the first movie and basically made it again, this time without the comedy and without anything original.

Overall not good, okay if this was the orginal movie it wouldn't be that bad, but what they done is just rip everyone off and this was a massive dissapointment to me. Director Todd Phillips done alot better with Due Date than this lame effort.

''Very Sick Movie''

Well the movie is about 5 young people who fall victim to a family of cannibals after visiting a old home on a road trip. short and sweet haha.

Well the Texas Chainsaw Masacre was a really good movie, i havnt seen this 1974 movie before but i have seen the remake from back in 2003 and i have to say this 1974 edition was alot better than the remake. Well the characters in this movie are a group of 5.... sorry to say this but annoying people, the guy in the wheel chair pis*ed me off so much, so after 10 minutes and not a fan of any of the characters i didnt think i would enjoy this movie....i was wrong. As soon i seen the big dopey crazy guy running around with a chainsaw my mood changed. This movie was sick, disturbing, intense, gripping and scary and i get these feeling's from most old horror movies, its something directors just can't seem to do with todays horror movies and its a shame. Well after we see dopey chainsaw man we meet the rest of his family for a family dinner and i must say its one of the sickest scenes in horror movies history, it was so disturbing and chilling i was sitting thinking this movie is wrong.

Texas Chainsaw Masacre is alot better than the remake and if you are like me and you havn't seen the original you should really check this out. It starts abit slow and the characters are really unlikeable but once things start picking up it has you sitting up tall on the edge of your seat. Glad i watched this movie now, sequels maybe a option now.

(VOLCANO)
Directed By: Mick Jackson

http://media.disastermovieworld.com/2009/07/volcano480.jpg
''Good Disaster movie''

Well Volcano is a movie about errmmm....... a volcano haha, the volcano is formed after a earthquake hits the city of Los Angeles. City emergency Management Michael Rourke (Tommy Lee Jones) has to use every resource in the city to stop this Volcano ripping through the city and destroying everything.

Well Volcano was on the tv the other other night and as a fan of disaster type movies i thort i would check this out. Well Volcano i think was a pretty good disaster movie, i havn't seen this movie before because i was expecting to see Dantes Peak written all over it but it couldn't be anymore different. I think the idea of the Volcano under the city of Los Angeles was a pretty good idea and something that made this movie alot more interesting than Dantes Peak. The Thing i liked about this movie was that the focus of the film was on just the lava, how could they stop it, what would they do, there was no big fancy volcano's blowing up everywhere, no big fancy firework displays, just the lava and how the city came together to try and stop it and that was something a little different.

Tommy Lee Jones does a good job, i think he takes the movie further than it could of gone, there is only so far a movie can go just about Lava and i think Jones Performance helped this movie alot. The Other cast do a good job aswell but we just don't see that much of them because we have jones screaming his head of on are screen the whole movie haha.

overall i think Volcano is a pretty good movie. Dantes Peak came out the same year as Volcano and the two movies seem to get get compared to each other alot, but for me i think Volcano was alot better, something about the volcano under the city was alot more entertaining and interesting .

I dunno man, I think expectations for Hangover 2 might've been way too high. I'm not sure what you lot were expecting but I was expecting a more gross over the top version of the original, and I think I might've been saved for adopting that mentality. I liked it, but I doubt I will go out my way to ever watch it again. I did watch the orignal about a week prior to it, so I dunno if they might have anything to do with it. Or it could just be that I was in such good company when watching the sequel that it seemed better than it deserved to be, regardless though, the reviews have been a lil harsh imo.

(The Strangers)

http://www.amoeba.com/dynamic-images/blog/Eric_B/alg_strangers.jpg
''Half A Movie''

A couple staying in a vacation house recieve a knock on the door in the middle of the night from a woman asking for tamara, she leaves the house after being told that Tamara doesn't live there. James leaves his wife to do something for her and while he is gone the woman returns to the house and begins banging on the front door, banging on the back door also starts to happen. Later on 3 people wearing masks enter the house, but whats happens??.

Well the strangers was a good horror movie, i didnt want so give to much away in the story but it is a good little watch. The movie has some intense, creepy moments and if i was in the womans situation of people banging on my door in the middle of the night while i was alone aswell i'd sh** my pants. The big problem i have with the movie was the ending, well you can't even say its the end, the movie feels like it just finishes half way through and i was left shocked and thinking IS THAT IT. Okay so the ending was a problem but to carry it on for another half hour may have ruined the movie, horror movie that keep going and going and going seem to lose there excitement, so maybe its a good thing it didn't get milked.......plus i hear there is a sequel getting made, so ill check that out.

overall good little horror movie that has a little bit of a different feel to most horror's around today and its a good thing. Lets hope the sequel lets us know just a little bit more.

Se7en (1995)

http://www.gmanreviews.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/08/se7enpic.jpg

Se7en follows 2 detectives, Mills played by Brad Pitt and Somerset played by Morgan Freeman, the detectives are hunting down a serial Killer that Kills his victims using the 7 deadly sins to justify his murders. Can the detectives find there murderer before its to late.

Well lets just start by saying this movie is awesome, david fincher done a fantastic job with the story, the cast and the whole feel and the whole setting to the movie made everything work so well. The first time i seen se7en the story just took me for a ride, it had me trying to figure out who the killer was, from the word go i was thinking its Sommerset....... then i was thinking ohh no its Mills and thats the great thing about the characters in the movie they all seem like it could be any one off them. Brad Pitt and Morgan Freeman are fantastic, great performances from both guys and they work so well together, Kevin Spacey is another great performance, i cant really fault any of the cast come to think about it.

Overall Se7en is a fantastic movie that i havn't seen in a couple of years and a re-watch was just as good. The ending to the movie is one of my favourite movie endings ever, done so perfect, so creepy with a real dark scary feel to it......well the whole movie infact has that feel.

The Mist (2007)

http://www.joblo.com/images_arrownews/the_mist_film-lg.jpg

Well The Mist is a movie based on The Mist by Stephen King, it follows a group of people trapped in the local supermarket because of a huge cloud of mist outside, its not the mist that's the problem its whats inside the mist that has everybody so scared.

Well this movie was a first watch for me and i have to say i absolutely loved every minute of it, its a fantastic movie and better than i hoped for. The Mist has a running time of roughly 2 hours long and for a movie thats location is in a supermarket the whole time it just never gets boring, the characters are so interesting and the story is done so well it just feels like there is always something going on. The cast do really carry this movie and they are all fantastic, so maybe thats why it works so well and why i enjoyed this movie so much. Bit of neg now, okay the monsters don't look that great and we don't really see that much of them but the movie still works and when see some other creatures start to appear things get interesting again and we forget about the other monsters.

Overall great movie from start to finish, really entertaining and ime not wanting to give much away but the ending was really shocking, i couldn't believe it haha. If you havn't seen this it is really worth checking out.

Well here is two movies that i loved as a kid, probabley my favourite 2 movies back then, but what do i think now watching them years later, 2 quick reviews coming up.

Drop Dead Fred (1991)

Directed By: Ate De Jong

http://mos.totalfilm.com/images/r/russell-brand-to-remake-drop-dead-fred-00-420-75.jpg

Well Drop Dead Fred was one of my favourite movies as a kid, it was a movie that i think i watched everyday and a movie that i laughed at so hard, i even tryed to make my own mood pie haha. Well watching this movie now and for the first time in over 10 years it still had me in stichers, Drop Dead Fred is a movie that i think it doesnt matter how old you are you will still laugh at something, Mud Pie's, Dog Poo on carpet, looking up skirts, Fred does everything crazy and wacky and his scenes are great. Glad i dug this movie out and watched it again, maybe i didn't enjoy it as much as when i was young but it was still a very funny film.

BeetleJuice (1988)

Directed By: Tim Burton

http://therealmtoys.com/wordpressorg/wp-content/uploads/2010/06/beetlejuice.jpg

Well another movie favourite of mine but this movie was for a whole different reason, beetlejuice used to scare the crap out of me, i loved it don't get me wrong but because i thought it was terrifying and watched it more for the scare. Well after a re-watch now ive got a totally different view on the movie, very very funny movie. Beetlejuice was crazy, over the top and a wierd movie but it works, Michael Keaton is fantastic and tho i didn't know who he was as a kid i can now appreciate his performance and how well he played the character. Great movie, great cast, crazy story and crazy film but who cares.

1.5

First things first, it's called The Hangover Part 2. Part 2. Not, The Hangover 2. But, Part 2. For those of you who don't understand... It's meant to be kind of the same. Which is why i love it. The same, nothing new.
Of course the story is the same, it's The Hangover, if it had been any different then it wouldn't have been great (for me). This movie is meant to look like the first one. I understand that people want just something new, but that's just not really the case with this series. Does this make it a bad series? No. I didn't find the sequel less funnier than the first one.
I don't know really how to explain it. Hopefully some of you understand what i mean.

An American Werewolf In London

http://www.filmschoolrejects.com/images/american_werewolf_in_london7.jpghttp://www.heraldscotland.com/polopoly_fs/6867106-1.927747!image/3310290215.JPG_gen/derivatives/landscape_300/3310290215.JPG

Two American studants jack Goodman and David Kessler are backpacking across the moors, when they start becoming cold and hungry they stop at a little pub called the slaughtered lamb, when the locals start becoming very strange with the two and make them feel very unwelcome they decide to leave, when leaving the locals start telling the pair to beware of the moon and stick to the road. The two lads are walking discussing what they thought the locals meant when they wonder of the road and into the moors, the weather becomes worse and out comes the full moon, when the lads realise they have wonderered of track they start to hear howling noises getting closer and closer and the two soon begin to panic. A werewolf then appears out of knowhere and begins to start ripping one of the lads apart Jack, then turns to David but the locals soon appear and shoot the werewolf leaving David with only bite marks. Fast Forward and David wakes up in a hospital bed in london, david realises that what happened down in the moors has been covered up and no one believes him about what really happened. David then begins to see things, his dead friend jack keeps coming to him warning him that on the next full moon david himself will turn into a werewolf and that he must kill himself before that can happen.

Well this is a first watch for me, i decided to watch it as i have seen the movie appear on a lot of members top 100 lists so i decided to give it a try. First of i'd like to say it wasn't that good of a movie, it wasn't bad either but its not a movie i would of put on my list. The acting for starters was really really cheesy, i know its a old movie and is described as a horror-comedy but i don't think we were supposed to find the acting funny was we?. The concept of the movie was a great idea and it is probabley one of the better werewolf movies i have seen but i found the movie to start of great, it built up a good story, flowed nicely, then bang there was no ending, well there was but it felt really forced like they didn't know where to go with the movie.

http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_1wl5FcZkkvo/SfBwtNh6s4I/AAAAAAAADN4/KZOwGASe0Ok/s400/amwerelondon.jpg

One thing that did impress me about the movie was the werewolf transformation, the first time we see David turn into the werewolf was visually great and for a movie made back in 1981 it looked spot on. Also some of the ideas like david waking up in the zoo with the wolves, or david surrounded by the people he has killed because they are stuck in limbo are cool ideas. I think the problem i had mainley was the ending, i think that it could of been handled alot better. Overall some great ideas, good story but just something missing for me.

Although I've not seen it (and it stars Julie Delpy) I'd advise staying well clear of "Paris".

A few of questions, if I may. Firstly, which werewolf film(s) do you like better? Secondly, if this isn't the best transformation scene, which is? Lastly, what acting did you find funny? Was it a particular actor/actress? A scene? Or throughout the film? Obviously you are supposed to be laughing but, as you said, not at the acting.

Free Willy

http://jurgenfauth.com/wp-content/uploads/freewilly.jpghttp://www.econews.gr/wp-content/uploads/2009/05/keiko-whale.jpg

Free Willy is a family film about a young boy Jesse, jesse has been on the streets since his mum abandoned him, in and out of trouble from stealing to vandalising jesse is arrested by the police for vandalizing a theme park along with his friends. His social worker Dwight helps jesse out of trouble placing him in a foster home and providing he goes back to the theme park and cleans all his mess up, while cleaning his mess up Jesse comes close to one of the theme parks attractions a orca whale named willy, jesse becomes very close to willy and is amazed that willy listens to him and does what he says which is something none of the trainers at the park were ever able to do.

Free Willy is a movie that i loved as a child and i still love watching to this day actually, its a family movie that is aimed at all audiences from young to old free willy will entertain everyone. With a nice little story, sad in some parts and a real lovable Willy--haha the movie is a great watch and is probabley one of my favourite animal movies out there. Michael Madsen stars as one of jesse's foster parents and does a good job, ime a fan of Madsen and love all his work Resevouir Dogs, Sin City, Donnie Brasco, Species, and tho this is a little different he managers to pull it off without looking like he's gonna kill someone. Jason James Richter who plays Jesse does a good little job, tho his character is annoying at first he soon turns likeable, the rest of the cast i can't really fault either.

Overall Free Willy is a good film, good story, likeable characters, happy ending and a movie young kids will love. Free Willy has 3 sequels 2 of which i have seen, i aint gonna bother with any reviews on them because they don't come close to this.

Platoon

http://www.geekarmada.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/12/platoon05-300x200.jpghttp://www.tribuneindia.com/2006/20060528/spectrum/blast.jpg

Well Platoon is another first watch for me, i havn't seen many of Oliver Stones movies, i have seen Any Given Sunday, World Trade Center and Wall Street 2 and thats about it but Platoon i must say is the best of what ive seen. The Movie has quite a simple plot, its about a group of young soldiers as they patrol the jungles of vietnam in 1967, they battle everything from, bugs, war, there emotions and feelings, exaustion, to even battling with each other and its a very powerful movie.

Well i'll start by saying this movie would of made my top 50 without a doubt. With such a simple plot this movie has so much going on, there was never a time were i was feeling bored or restless it grabs your attention and takes you along. The cast i think is what makes this movie and there was 3 strong performances that stuck out for me, first is Charlie Sheen, second Willem Defoe and then John C. McGinley, also know as Dr Cox. These Three actors i thought where fantastic especially Charlie Sheen in by far his best role yet... i say yet like its gonna change haha. We see Sheen taking drugs, getting emotional, going abit crazy by the end of the movie i was thinking have i just watched a war movie or a movie about Charlie Sheens personal life.

http://www.topyaps.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/02/platoon.jpg

Platoon has some really powerful scenes throughout the movie that at times left me looking away from the screen, its a very strong story and could be the best war film i have seen. If you have never seen this movie like me you should really check it out.

Not sure how you'd define old but maybe these? I've not seen a whole lot of older movies myself either but I would recommend:

Dr. Strangelove
Rear Window
12 Angry Men
The Breakfast Club (old? Maybe)
For animation, The Jungle Book

Btw, nice review, I'm also a big fan of Willem Dafoe's performance in Platoon, as well as Tom Berenger's solid turn.
