Oh, I dunno, I'd say you probably do have some kind of program on your computer to record your voice with. If you're running basically any version of Windows higher than ol' 3.1, you've probably got an application called Sound Recorder available to you. I don't know what the equivalent is on some flavors of Linux, or MacOS, but I imagine they have a similar program available.

And no, I didn't 'spect the gag would be funny to all. When you slip the newt into the teacher's water, the goal is never to get the teacher to laugh...it's to see how the teacher reacts, of course. :) A few of us got a kick out of it, at least.

I have checked out Vocaroo. I will need to get a microphone first which I will do shortly. Also will make sure I know where to plug it in on my PC.


On the phone, I have been mistaken for a woman many times. Even when I am talking to someone and they are not looking me, I have been referred to as M'am or Miss.

I dont sound old.. my voice is a cheery one... lol but I think I sound very nasally.... who knows.. you always sound different to yourself than what others hear....

You sound real good, MovieGal. I'm from Michigan, and I have a very Midwestern accent. I think it's the most clear, not because I'm from there, but if you're on an airplane, they don't use "Southern" or a Boston accent, and I've heard them all. It's kind of the unofficial/official accent.
