I suppose I should be impressed by his "skill", but it totally destroys the emotional impact of the original piece, which is a shame, because it's probably one of the most perpetually affecting pieces of music I've ever heard. The steady, sorrowful "climb" of the strings is what does it for me.

I'm sorry if this sounds bitchy, but if you're going to keep making "please identify this song for me" threads in the Television/Music subforum, it's going to become annoying and make this place cluttered. There's a "Movie Questions" subforum for a reason -- to keep those threads neatly in one place. There's not yet a "Music Questions" subforum.

I recommend that you put your all song questions in a thread titled Genyav's Music Questions instead of creating thread after thread for each song question you have.

I'm just saying that 'cause this place really never gets song question threads, and I know you, Genyav, ask for a lot of answers to questions you have about things you've seen/heard but don't know what it's called.

It's annoying and trollish. If I started putting up a bunch of threads saying, "Help me identify the song from this Youtube video!" --- I would be disappointed in this place if they didn't try to put me in line.

I know I'm not a mod, but I couldn't help but speak up.
