Written by 50 Cent, this movie focuses on the career of a mid-level gun dealer looking to expand his business. 50 (if I can call him that), radiates a cool charisma as the slick, intelligent arms dealer Rich. A pudgy and intense Val Kilmer is refreshingly good as Angel, his recently paroled buddy. AnnaLynne McCord is smoking hot in this one. In a couple of scenes, she actually out-CharlizeTheron's Charlize Theron! (watch it, you'll get my drift).

The plot is kind of simple, nothing special here. But a warning: the movie does idolize guns, especially with 50 Cent toting the mighty .500 Smith and Wesson Magnum, the most powerful handgun on earth, used mainly by Alaskan bush pilots to kill giant grizzlies. Every gangbanger in North America will be drooling and camping out in line for one of these babies once they've seen the movie. (hey man, it is what it is....)

I look at this as a good watchable little film and not a bad beginning effort from 50 Cent and company. James Remar gives the pressured Detective Rogers a nice frail human quality. There is a brief appearance by Danny Trejo, which seems a bit of a disconnect. And John Larroquette plays the big daddy gun dealer. I wanted to giggle, but I knew it wouldn't be right.

This movie isn't going to win any plot awards, but like I said, high watchability factor in my book.
