With just one year having passed after taking out Ra's Al Ghul's plan to have Gotham eliminated and the mysterious disappearance of Dr. Jonathan Crane AKA the Scarecrow, and after the city was nearly plundered with his toxins, Bruce Wayne and his vigilante alter-ego the Batman, continue the seemingly endless effort to bring order to Gotham, with the help of Lt. James Gordon and newly appointed District Attorney Harvey Dent. But a new threat has now emerged into the streets. The Dark Knight faces a rising psychopathic criminal called The Joker, whose eerie grin, laughter, and inhuman morality makes him as dangerous than what he has yet to unleash. It becomes an agenda to Batman to stop the mysterious Joker at all costs, knowing that both of them are in an opposite line. One has no method at all and seeks to see the world plunge into the fire he has yet to light. One represents the symbol of hope and uses his own shadow to bring the peace and order he has yet to accomplish doing.

Well after what Nolan did bringing back the batman franchise with Batman Begins, and with it doing so well and being so popular there was really high hopes for its sequel and as most of you know it did not dissapoint. The Dark Knight was a fantanstic movie better than what i had hoped for better than i think most people hoped for. The Joker played by heath Ledger was fantastic, he was a huge part of why the film was so good his performance was incredible. Batman however was probabley the dullest character in this movie, but with the joker being such a big character in this movie and Two face being in it aswell i really dont think people cared.

Some Great Scenes in this movie too, the interrogation scene being one of them great scene with both Batman and the Joker. Also the scene with the joker standing on the back off a lorry blowing police cars up with machine guns and rocket Launchers. There is actually so many great scenes in this movie it would be hard to list them all. Christopher Nolan Made the best Batman movie ever with The Dark Knight and i dont think it can be topped. With Nolan Hard at work now making the 3rd movie in the series The Dark Knight Rises, i really hope its as good as the Dark Knight then we will probabley have one of the best trilogy's of all time.

300 tells the story of the Battle of Thermopylae in 480 B.C. Persians under the rule of King Xerxes have already taken over some of the Hellenic city-states, and now threaten Sparta and Athens. Choosing the former, Leonidas forms an army of 300 Spartan warriors to block the narrow passage of Thermopylae where Xerxes intends to reach Hellas. The 300 are accompanied by about 700 Thespians who protect the flanks of the passage, and combined, the forces manage to slay tens of thousands of Persians and prevent their entry into Hellas for several days. However, Ephialtes, a reject of the Spartan Army gets his revenge by showing Xerxes a secret goat passage up the flanks of the passage. The story depicts the epic last stand of the finest Spartan soldiers who are aware of their fate, but motivated by "honor and glory", see the battle as their duty to protect the rest of Greece for as long as possible.

Well 300 i first watched a couple of years ago, i re-watched it couple of weeks ago and forgot how good this movie is. I like any movie with Garard Butler in like Gamer, RockNrolla, The Bounty Hunter but this is something special. Gerard Butler does a great performence in this movie and visually i found this movie amazing. I think that the battle scenes are some of the best ive seen in movies like these and at times gets the hairs on my neck standing. Ok i know not everyone is a fan of this movie and it really depends on what you like but i love this movie, it gets better every time i watch it.

'Training Day' follows Harris as he trains rookie Jake Hoyt over a period 24 hours. Ethical dilemmas arise for Hoyt as well as the audience as questions present themselves as to whether or not Harris' methodology for ridding the streets of South Central Los Angeles of drugs is right or wrong.

Well Training Day for me was a great movie, well anything with Denzel Washington in for me is a great movie. Ethan Hawke however i am not a big fan off but he actually does a good job in this and him and Denzel fit together really well. where used to seeing Denzel Washington playing the good guy, but in this movie however where seeing him playing Rogue Cop and he takes the role to a whole different level. Training Day i feel is a movie you will hate or love me personally i love it, plus Eva Mendes stars in it and that isnt a bad thing.

Well Eagle Eye is a fun, action packed crazy movie and i loved it Shia LaBouf is great in this and i actually felt sorry for his character the whole movie. Ok this movie is over the top, i mean a supercomputer that controls every electrical device around has to go out its way to do all that to kill the president (Couldnt it have just blew up his phone or tv or something haha) if you have seen this already you will know what i mean. But it doesnt matter because this movie grabs you from the start and takes you on a rollacoaster of a ride its so fast paced its great. If you havnt seen this its worth checking out.

Well The Lost Boys is a movie over 20 years old that i still love watching to this day that i dont get bored off, you would never guese its that old. This is a great movie thats still creepy when i watch it now but also is entertaining and cool as f****. This movie i think anyone would enjoy if you into your horror movies or even your adventure ones i mean a group of kids going on a search to kill vampires is a pretty good adventure. Also the soundtrack to this movie is awsome check it out.

Watchmen was a movie that i was looking forward to seeing from the first time i seen the trailer, it had so much pontential to be a great movie. Well was wrong i dont know where it all went wrong for this movie, it just didnt work for me. When i went the cinema to watch this i just became bored, but this also happened when i went to see Sin City. Once i got Sin City on dvd and sat and watched it again i loved it but this wernt the case for Watchmen, after buying it on dvd i still got bored and restless i just felt this movie didnt work and its a shame it had the pontential to be great. Ok it wernt all bad there are a few good action scenes and a ok sex scene if your into that haha.

Well first as a fan of the Hulk i was hugely dissapointed with the 2003 release of the movie, so hearing they was doing it again i was looking forward to this. The 2008 movie was alot better on all levels, Edward Norton did a great Job playing Bruce Banner, alot better than what Eric Bana did with the role. This movie did what the 2003 movie couldnt do. This movie was exciting from start to finish and The Hulk looked alot better this time around and the ending was a big improvement. I think this film didnt get the credit it deserved, this is one of my favourite comic book movies out there! yet the critics wernt to kind.

Director Ben Ramsey and writer Michael Andrews team for this martial arts action thriller concerning a mysterious drifter (Michael Jai White) who becomes ensnared in the seedy world of underground street fighting. In the back alleys of Los Angeles, life is cheap and to go against the grain is to take on the most powerful criminal organization on the West Coast.

Well what can i say about Blood and Bone if your a MMA fan or if you like these type of underground street fighting movies you will love this. Its full of action through out the whole movie, and there are some great fight scenes. Michael Jai White shows off his Martial arts talent fantanstic in this movie, and a few MMA stars make an appearance. Well if your not into these type of movies then this is not for you because the acting is terrible, as you would expect in a movie like this, and it has its cheesy one liners and its cheesy moments .

if your a MMA fan you will love this movie you should really check it out.

Ime a big fan of Nicolas Cage in his old action moves, Face Off, Con Air, The Rock, and after watching this, Snake Eyes is up there with them. Nicolas Cage plays his character Ricky Santoro brilliant in this movie, i loved his character. Snake eyes also has a great storyline, it has alot going on, and kept me guessing till the end. Snake Eyes is a movie that not everyone will enjoy tho as most of the critics decided that aswel with mixed responses. But for me i loved snake eyes, its not a masterpiece but it is definitely worth the watch.

This was one one of my favourite movies of 2007. Ridley Scott did an amazing job with American Gangster, it was a fantastic movie, one of my favourite Ridley Scott movies yet. Denzel washington did a great performance and Russel Crowe was fantastic aswell, it was great to see them in a movie together. Ridley Scott deserves alot of credit for what he did with this movie, he didnt go overboard like alot of gangster movies do, everything was just perfect and fitted together just wright.
If you havnt checked this out yet you really must, its a must see ive just ordered it for my Blu ray collection.

Well people hear the name Christopher Nolan and they think of Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, but Nolan deserves just as much credit for this movie. The Prestige is a great movie really well written and the cast all do a fantanstic job, there isnt many movies around like this, so this is something special. Christian Bale i think does a better job in this than he does in the Batman Movies, and Hugh Jackman does a great performence aswell. This is up there with Christopher Nolan best work so if you havnt seen this check it out.

Lethal Weapon is a movie that we just dont see anything like anymore, and its a shame because its a great movie. The cop movies that are around today are nothing like the lethal weapon series, they were action packed, funny, and just great to watch. Mel Gibson and Danny Glover are a fantastic partnership one of the best in a movie like this, they just bounce of each other and its a great thing to watch. From start to finish this movie is action packed and still over 20 years on, it still feels very much up to date.

Well from the writers of Crank come's Pathology. Pathology is a movie i couldn't make my mind up on, its quite disturbing and sick in a way. The characters are all abit dull throughout the movie, but i think they where supposed to be as they where all sickos. Well if your in to gory movies like hostel this will be your type of movie, But i dont think this was a movie for me.

Well for me Quentin Tarantino did a brilliant movie here. Death Proof has car chases, explosions, sexy girls, murders, and a cool ass guy Kurt Russel as the bad guy (crazy) . People give Quentin Tarantino a hard time with this movie with people and critics comparing Death Proof to his older movies like Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs and there is nothing to compare, Death Proof is a fantastic movie aswell as they are. If you have avoided it over what you have read or heard you should really take no notice and check this out.

The Matrix was something new and original with a great story, great action, and a great cast. Keanu Reeves and Hugo Weeving delivered a solid performence and the Wachowski brothers delivered a solid movie.

Well The Matrix Reloaded carried on from The Matrix but did it match up ??. Well The Cast all do great performances again and the action is explosive, alot of great fight scenes, car chases the lot But somehow i felt it wern't as good as the Matrix but still good movie.

Well the last in the trilogy The Matrix Revolutions. The movie i dont think was on the same level as the other 2, i felt as tho it just lost its way and it felt rushed along. The biggest dissapointment was the ending and its a shame it had so much potential to make this a great trilogy.

Rocky movie's i never get bored of and this is what started the series off. Rocky is a fantastic movie, great story, great acting, and from this day still stands taller than the boxing movies we see around now. From start to finish the movie has you cheering rocky on and the training and fight scenes get your adrenaline pumping..

Well Rocky 2 is a fantastic sequel i actually enjoyed this better than the first Rocky. i love apollo creed (carl weathers) in this movie i think he is great and the story managers to carry on without getting at all repetitive. Rocky 2 is a fantastic sequel the best in the series..

Rocky III continue's from the rest of the movies as a new opponent Clubber Lang ( Mr T) step's forward and makes things personal for Rocky. Rocky 3 still has all the qualitys as the other two movies and Mr T certainly makes things interesting, plus we also see a match with Rocky and Hulk Hogan (or should i say Thunder Lips).

This time around Ivan Drago has his sight set on Rocky! and this time Rocky is all about revenge. Rocky IV has a great story and you actually feel for him and want to cheer him on the whole movie. Rocky's training session in this movie is my favourite out of all the Rocky movies, and being the fourth movie in the series the movie still feels fresh.

Well Rocky's back again in this fifth installment but this time he has hung up his gloves and is training a rookie kid Tommy Gun. Well Rocky has lost everything in this movie and where basically taken back to the first Rocky movie without any of the magic. The end of the movie we have no training session, no fight, no real ending really.

The last Rocky movie returned to form with Rocky stepping into the ring to face the new champion on the block Mason Dixon. Well Rocky Balboa is back up there with the best of the Rocky movies with a great story, great fight and a touching scene at the end. Will we see another Rocky movie????? i hope so.

Well Devil was a movie i went to see not really expecting much from it, but it was alot better than i thought. Devil has alot of creepy, scary moments and made me jump a good few times. Ok the acting isn't great but its what you would expect from a horror movie like this and it is still definitely worth watching this movie.

The Fourth kind is the scariest movie i have seen in a long time it made me feel like a 6 year old kid watching a horror movie again. There are some really chilling moments in the film especially the video tape moments, they were really creepy. Not a big fan of horror movies but this i really enjoyed.

Well Planet Terror isn't the best zombie movie around as everyone will already know but it certainly isn't a bad movie and it does bring something new to the table. Director Robert Rodriguez did a great job with this movie, ok its not scary or creepy in anyway but it is an hour and a half of fun and crazy stuff ( where else will you see a hot girl with a machine gun as a leg). The visual and the feel of the movie was something new to me and i really enjoyed it, aswell as alot of action, alot of zombie killings, and hot girls whats not to enjoy. Ok the follow up to this movie Death Proof i enjoyed alot more, but this was still a cool movie.

Unstoppable is a drama about a runaway train carrying a cargo of toxic chemicals. Pits an engineer and his conductor in a race against time. Well Tony Scott the director behind, Man On Fire, The Taking of Pelham 123 and Enemy Of The State, teams up again with Denzil Washington for this thrill ride of a movie. Unstoppable was a great movie from Tony Scott his best in a while now and it certainly hit the big screen with a bang. This movie was fun, exciting, and a thrilling ride, Denzil Washington's performance was great as usual but Christopher Pine... i was impressed with, Pine who starred in 2009's Star trek was fantastic, he kind of stole the show. I went to see this movie not really expecting much just a average movie, but left the cinema feeling happy, great movie, great cast.

James Cameron's Avatar.....well where to start, Visually as most of us all know its terrific, its a great cinema experience in 3D and looks amazing, but for me thats all it really had. Avatar had a okay story, the acting was okay, there was no big stand out performance from the stars, all just a average movie really. James Cameron is currentley working on two sequels to Avatar (probabley for money reasons) that i am not really to bothered about, i really don't see the point for sequels at all because the first movie tho i did enjoy it.... its not really a movie i am in a rush to re-watch again.

Well the Hurt Locker shocked me with how good this movie really was, this movie was fantastic. I have had the Hurt Locker sitting in my dvd collection for some time now thinking i wouldnt enjoy it......well i was wrong this movie was full of exciting moments, action packed, and had me sitting on the edge of my seat the whole time. I heard a rumour a while back that a sequel to this movie is getting made following a different group of soldiers, well i hope so because Kathryn Bigelow did a fantastic job with the first movie and i really think that a sequel could work.

Adam Mckay the man who brought us Step Brothers, Anchorman The Legend of Ron Burgundy and Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby brings us his latest comedy The Other Guys, lets see how it compares. The Other Guys described as a comedy (i dont know why) stars Will Farrel and Mark Wahlberg. Ok the movie wernt really that funny but it was really enjoyable, Adam Mckay's usual comedy movies are really silly and stupid but this i enjoyed it had a good little story and Farrel and Wahlberg worked well together which i was rather surprised by. If you have not yet seen this its worth checking out.

Antoine Fuqua did a great job with Tears Of The Sun i've seen this movie about 4-5 times now and i love it every time. Bruce Willis i love in this movie i think he's great, he plays his character really well, Monica Bellucci star's alongside Willis and does a good job aswell (plus she is hot). The movie is full of action, alot of gun fights, explosions and there is some disturbing scenes but it all fits in well with whats going on in the movie. The ending in this movie i love, i get shivers all the time but its a great ending, to a great film. You should watch this movie if you have never seen it, it is a really good film.

Well whats there to say about this film?????? Predator is one the coolest movies ever, ok its been dragged through the dirt abit with all the bad sequels and the AVP series, but people will always remember how good the first movie was. Predator had a good story, alot of action, alot of gun fire and Arnold Schwarzenegger with his special forces team trying to escape the jungle from the coolest alien ever (PREDATOR). Schwarzenegger and his team of badasses makes Adrien Brody and his team look like a gang of girls in the new movie, i don't think any new predator movie could ever top this, i think this is a movie every man will enjoy, its just full of testosterone and its a great movie.

CLOVERFIELD (2008 Matt Reeves) 3

The US Defense Department finds a videotape in the former Central Park. The footage shows a group of friends celebrating a surprise farewell party in the apartment of Rob Hawkins in Lower Manhattan. Rob is a young man that is leaving New York to work in Japan and his friend Hud is recording messages from his friends. Out of the blue, they are surprised by an earthquake and they see on the news that a ship has capsized in the harbor area. They go to the penthouse to see the accident and they actually witness explosions everywhere; when power goes out in the building, they run to the streets trying to save their lives from the attack of the monster.

Well i am not really a fan of these cam movies, but Cloverfield was actually a okay movie. A monster attacking the city is not a original idea for a movie as we all know, but it was a new approach to the idea, and i think it worked well, ok the ending was a bit of a dissapointment but i think there was no other way of really ending it. Cloverfield never really gives us a good look at whats attacking the city and whats really going on and i think that's what made it more realistic (even tho if something was attacking your city..... i doubt you would be holding a video camara recording it). The movie was a fun movie to watch and i hope the rumours of a sequel turn out to be true.

Well John Q is a movie that goes below the radar in Denzil Washingtons career, not many people have heard of it, or seen this movie, and its a shame this is a great movie. Denzil Washington does a great performance, alot of emotion and still cool as always. John Q has a really sad, moving story and i think that Nick Cassavetes brought that across really well (alot of sad moments). This movie has alot of good stars, abit of action, good story(very touching story), its just a good movie to watch, so why not many people of heard of this.. i don't know. I only heard of this movie not long ago, but it was definitely worth the watch.

Well death Race 2 was a direct to Dvd movie and a prequel to Death Race. Well we all know the first Death Race movie starring Jason Statham wasn't a masterpiece but it was a fun movie to watch, alot of action, cool car races, and some gruesome deaths made it all enough to watch and enjoy.

Well i don't normally watch direct to dvd movies but i gave this a shot. Death Race 2 was alot better than i expected it be, a good little story, alot of action, cool fight scenes, good car races and some hot girls, everything the first movie had to offer is in this. Ok its not great, but it did stand out for me because i was expecting a really bad, cheap movie but it really didn't feel like that. A few famous face's star in this aswell Sean Bean, Ving Rhames and Danny Trejo all have a role and actually do a good job.

Ok i gave this a average rating because i enjoyed watching Death Race and this movie is basicaly the same movie but with abit of a update. The ending was also good to watch to see how it all happened and see how frankenstein came about.
