I liked Luther. It starts out like good genre, which it is, but develops as the episodes move on, though not as much as I'd like. I think I mentioned it in the tv tab, if you want to take a look.

Also, this lady's in it, which I was very pleased about.

I'm surprised to see Nikita rated that highly. The trailers here make it look pretty generic and crappy. I might take a look.

It's not a masterpiece but the pilot was better than expected.

Lyndsy Fonseca is a horrible actress in it though. Hopefully her character becomes secondary in later episodes. I do however feel this will probably be a one season wonder.

The ratings were better than that of it's lead-in so who knows?

I must say I have never seen the original series with Peta Wilson or the movies though I am familiar with the story.

I'd only recommend the original film. That's not film snobbery or anything, it's just that it's the only good thing Nikita-related. Believe me, the one thing I don't think anyone round here would call me, is a film snob. :D
