Such as the ones the BBC made. Serial dramas.

Just saw BBC's latest modern day adaptation of Sherlock Holmes (3 Part Mini-Series)..
It was really impressive, far better than Guy Ritchie's attempt.

Probably the best I've seen was BBC's 1995 Pride and Prejudice with Colin Firth and Jennifer Ehle...

You can't really compare the two tho hey? ok they're based on Conan Doyles books but the writers are doing different takes. I liked 'em both :)
The BBC's one is truning out quite awesome, the second one was ace!

I too like both of them... But I hate Guy Ritchie & others claiming it as the most faithful adaptation, just coz Sherlock can be seen fighting..

I love it too :D

And of course the seminal 1981 Brideshead Revisited adaptation, clocking in at 14 hours!

It's impossible to make this any worse than the book. Horrid, horrid book. Possibly the only work of fiction that I truly hate. But then, I haven't read a lot of fiction. :p:D

I enjoyed the atmosphere of Rose Red a lot, though I haven't seen it in years
