I'm confused. Firstly, it's only May... Secondly, why isn't Shutter Island in your poll?

I'll go with Clash Of the Titans.. have yet to see HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON.
Even though COTT wasn't as good as the original, it was still enjoyable.

Since those are the only options (why?) I went with How To Train Your Dragon.

I picked How To Train Your Dragon but Toy Story 3 is out in June and I can already predict that as my favourite <3
Yeah, this is premature. I also edited the poll to only allow for a single option, since multiple options doesn't really make sense here. Edited the thread title, too. The whole thing was kind of a mess. :p

So far... I Love You Phillip Morris
I think you need more options, or at least a 'none of the above'.

Shutter Island has been the best film I've seen this year. I seem to like it a lot more than most people, and I prefer it to some of Scorsese's highly praised films.

Iron Man 2, Kick Ass, and Shutter Island are my favorites so far. Lots of stuff still coming out though, this poll would be better post-summer.

I think Kick-Ass is the only 2010 release I've seen at all.

I said Clash of the Titans since I've only seen two films from that list and the new Nightmare on Elm Street isn't going on anything but a "Worst Movies" list.
I haven't seen them all :nope: so voted for Alice

None of the above.
Shutter Island would get my vote if it were on the list.

I agree. My favorite of the year so far.
Do you love Hitchcock? I keep thinking those of us that love Hitch, have got to love this movie! :D

Err, why is Kick Ass not on the list??? It's easily that one, but I dunno, call me an optimist, but I have a feeling that after July 16th everybody's going to be singing the praises of a contemporary sci-fi action film set within the architecture of the mind.

All the ones i've seen on there were average (Iron Man 2) or awful (ANOES, Alice).
I'd go with A Prophet or Four Lions so far. Maybe White Ribbon as think it only got theatrical this year here

Hands down A Prophet, even though it was already released in August 2009 in my country.
Shutter Island and -surprisingly- Clash of the Titans complete my top 3.
The Ghost Writer, How To Train Your Dragon and Shutter Island are my favorites so far.

Technically, it's Whip It!, which I saw for the first time this year, but that was released last year. The best 2010 film I think I've seen so far is Shutter Island.

Kick Ass with Greenberg a very close second.
Based on poll going with Iron Man 2.

I enjoyed Alice In Wonderland. I really like the song by Avril Lavigne "Alice". Johnny Depp was great as was newcomer Mia Wasikowska (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1985859/), but I do not see this movie being anywhere near my top 10 movies of the years as the year ends.

This may come as a surprise to some, but I have yet to see a movie from 2010. I've been so determined to catch up with earlier movies that I haven't seen one yet. Wanted to see Iron Man 2 but didnt get to yet.

A Prophet is the best I've seen this year, followed by Four Lions and Up in the Air. Not a record year imo

Oh, man... I have to agree with some of you. It's totally June, and I usually don't see movies in the theatre (AT ALL) until November. I know it's snobby. Sorry. Until I found my favorite little dumpy theatre (where 10 am matinees are only $5), I just went to Laemmle's for foreign stuff and independents during the year.
Ok... I'd rather drink bleach than check the box adjacent to Nightmare on Elm Street. I'd have to say Iron Man II. I was entertained for 2 hours - which is the most important thing to me...
Just a little note:

There really hasnt been much out that ive been dying to see. Shutter Island is def my favorite so far. But that will most likely change once i see Inception. Then it wont change at all. There are a few more i cant wait for though.
