I guess. I have tried pouring shots of vanilla syrup in Coke, and it tastes great. You should at least try one can. It wont hur. Oh the release date is May 15th

Pepsi Twist tastes pretty bad to me. In comparison to other forms of Pepsi, I mean. Diet Lemon Coke is MUCH better if you want a Lemon-flavored cola.

SPUD!!! don't go putting vanilla extract into anything unless you're baking...(...you can put a couple drops into a pot of coffee for a nice touch....... but what they're talking about is vanilla syrup!
you know the syrups they use for latté's and old fashioned soda's? there are a million....almond, caramel, amaretto, ......vanilla.....etc. ;)

and what IS the flavor of dr. pepper and Mr. pib? cherry something?

I'm not a very knowledgeable person when it comes to the kitchen, I know a few things, but other than that, I'm clueless.

the only thing i use coke for is cleaning coffee pots at the restaurant i work at (seriously), and unless the vanilla flavor somehow has the ability to enhance my sense of self esteem then i'll stick to beer, mineral water, and goat milk!

as for carbonation ......i HAVE to have lots of fizz or it isn't worth swallowing.
LOVE soda from the fountain!!.....crushed ice, and a straw. oooh yeah.

bottled soda has less fizz than cans......low fizz sucks.:mad:
i wish i had my own tank of CO2.....i'd add fizz.

and diet sodas are good once you adjust. really. :yup: but don't worry about it until you need to cut out calories.

You fools dont know anything if u hate Coke. Pepsi is ok, but it leaves a weird aftertaste. Vanilla syrup tastes very good in Coke, the trendies have been doing it for years.

Well, today at school, I bought a bottle of Vanilla Coke from a vending machine and I finally tried it.

I don't think it's that great. It tastes fine, but to me, it doesn't taste that much different from regular Coca Cola, which I like better. Vanilla Coke is not out of this world. Why does it have to be brown? It would have looked cooler if Vanilla Coke was white.
That's what I always imagined it would look like.

By the way, I no longer hate Pepsi Twist. In fact, I love it.

if anyone wants to drop weight and fat, give up sugar soda. it takes about a week to adjust to the diet stuff, but you will adjust ....if you love soda, you will love diet soda- you just have to lose the taste for the sugar and adjust to the aspartame.

you'll drop a solid ten pounds over time. i gaaarrruunnnnteeeee.

try diet barqs rootbeer.......yummy.
or diet 7-up with added lemon juice....i pour in like a half a cup......sooooo tart. yumma yumma

as for vanilla coke, i want to try it......but i don't think they have a diet version, and i don't think diet cream soda type beverages transfer very well to the no-cal version.

Patt is dead on. The exact same thing happened with me. Diet Soda tastes damn good to me, and I can really feel the difference, physically. Hell, take another step: drop sugar altogether. I did, and after a year, my body had transformed internally, and I dropped about 10 lbs.

Recommended to get ya'll started: Diet Sprite and Diet Dr. Pepper...both taste remarkably similar to their sugary counterparts.

Diet drinks are also easier to swallow.... except Diet Coke. Lordy, I don't know why Diet Coke tastes so disgusting to me. I used to drink it all the time cause I was forced to... it was a period of hell. Usually, in this household, I can have anything I want. But back during the early 90s, my mom would only buy diet drinks, and I'd have to sneak something regular at a friend's house.

Anyway, I can tell the difference between Dr. Pepper and Diet Dr. Pepper. Not sure about Sprite... haven't had Diet Sprite in a long time... but I probably could tell the difference. I'm an expert.

I didn't cut off carbonated/surgary drinks because I'm trying to lose weight though. I've been 155-160 for five years.

Same thing with tic-tacs. But they miss plenty of things Australia get. I eat kangaroo, for example. And trust me, you ain't missing anything with those wintergreen tic-tacs they've got going on...

That being said, I too dropped an absoloute tonne of weight after giving up normal Coke and only drinking Diet. I prefer Diet Coke to normal coke now. After you've adjusted, drinking normal Coke is just so hard. It's too sweet and you can feel this sugary residue eating your teeth. It's revolting.
