As suggested, I've finally got around to implementing a post minimum for signature links. Users now must have 25 posts to add links to their signatures; this total may be adjusted up or down depending on the effect it ends up having.
The change screens for the URL tag, as well as "http://" and "www". It's not completely full-proof, but as we've all learned, it's not worth a spammer's time to clear too many hurdles, and this is another that should discourage them.
It'll also cut down heavily on the pseudo-spammers, who show up and post a lot of fairly worthless stuff likely designed to draw attention to the link in their signature.
Note that this does not currently apply to people who already have links in their signatures. I think most of the issues going forward will be with new members, anyway, but if this doesn't end up being the case I'll look into going back and applying the restriction retroactively.
