Animated Avatar

Can anyone help?

I've noticed several people have animated avatars, and I'm wondering why my current avatar isn't animating. It is an animated .gif

Thought I'd just check if its a forum thing, or if its me somehow :)

Anyway, thanks in advance for any tips, suggestions or answers!

I would assume it's actually larger than the avatar limits (in terms of length/width or file size). I've noticed that when I try and upload avatars that are too large in terms of length/width they are re-sized and aren't animated.

My advice would be to acquire an account on a photo-sharing website like Photobucket and upload the GIF to that site, then choose a shrunken version. That's what I did for my last animated avatar, anyway.
