i just finished watching this movie on dvd and i have to say it was pretty entertaining.

The Samuel L Jackson speech cracked me up so much i just had to make this topic.

DEEP BLUE SEA was bad, I have to hand it to LL COOL J I dug his performance :D and that....... was the only thing to save this movie from becoming a complete BOMB. The CGI was terrible, the acting was well below par and the dialogue/screenplay was clumsy put together.

LL Cool J who I normally detest was the only one who didn't take such a ridiculous screenplay seriously.

I'm still trying to figure out why I bought this on DVD. Impluse buy I suppose.

Bah; it was a cool movie. Stupid at times, no doubt (very stupid, even)...but cool. And creepy (I'm terrified of sharks). And yes, Jackson's speech was HILARIOUS. I saw it in the theater, and after you-know-what happened, people were just nervously laughing...they were in shock. The laughter sort of floated around for a minute. It was great.

TWT you got to be kidding me, stop pulling my leg. The Effect or CGI were so nasty you could tell they were fake. The Ending other than the LL Cool J part (not giving anything away) was sloppy awful. the movie adds up to one big fat mess but you know what, I have Cliffhanger as a guilty Pleasure so I'll let you have this one for Renny Harlin so now were both even.

I liked Deep Blue Sea just like I liked Tomb Raider. It's silly and campy, but dammit if it's not fun! And Jackson's speech was funny, LL was great, and the sharks are creepy.

It was good , but Ive only seen it once.

If you own the DVD I suggest you listen to the commentary, funny at times, they mention things like the mark on LL Cool J's head near his temple, how it swithces sides somewhere in the movie, or how the escape pod in the room where Samuel L meets his demise is the same one used in Sphere.

Stuff like that. :D
