Acne

Like many I suffered from, and sometimes still do suffer from acne. Anyone else struggle with their complexion?

I did at the end of elementary school and all throughout high school. I still have some but not as much.

I still get the odd stray spot now and again. But I'm not that far out of puberty so I guess that's normal :D

And nope, never got any.

Never really had a problem with acne, just random spots appearng on my nose and forehead.

Yes, especially around the nose area, I don't suffer a lot, but once in a while, a big one pops up, especially when it's close to your nostril, or half in your nostril, they can hurt like hell!

Proactiv my friend. It really works. I don't have horrible acne, but I do have the occasional break outs, and proactiv has helped immensely.

I had a small one on my nose this morning that I popped. I did not like it.

I get a little bit of acne every now and then, but NOTHING like what I had in middle school & high school. I went to a dermatologist and wore makeup because I hated my face back then. The dermatologist worked... I took antibiotics. They tried to give me Accutane, but I backed out because I didn't wanna commit suicide.

He was a bad dermatologist. I had some pimple faced friends back in the day who told me that they went to him and they thought he was a jerk. He got really huffy when I refused Accutane. I had this frumpy woman - a "NURSE" - come into the examining room, WEARING A HEAVY NIKE COAT, and read me this long file about all of the dangers of Accutane ~ one of the side effects is apparently it makes you suicidal.

I said NO!

And the doctor got huffy.

But remember that boy that stole away on his private little airplane and flew into a building back in ~ late 2001 or 2002 ~ it was in Florida, I believe. He was taking ACCUTANE! And it made him suicidal!

I could have stolen an airplane and flew to my death all for the sake of a clear complexion!!!
