Thanks a lot, guys. I greatly appreciate the good Birthday wishes. :) And the images, too; Blair Witch and Superman -- two of my favorites! :cool:

But yeah, today has been a pretty good day so far. A few relatives came over earlier and we had some cake, and yesterday I went out with a couple of friends and saw Bruno at the theater with one of them, a girl I like pretty well. :cool:

As far as presents: I've gotten LOST Seasons 1 and 2 on Blu-ray (I already had the DVDs, but an uncle bought me the Blu-rays as a present, and I gave him the DVD box sets for free as a thank you), the Witchblade Volume 1 Compendium which is a massive, hardcover graphic novel (1,200 pages long) of one of my favorite comic book characters, and I got some cash and one or two other things I can't remember right now.

So, it's been an awesome Birthday this year, but next year is going to be one-hundred times as good; as a few of you guys know, I'm pretty big into poker, and starting next year, I can finally hit up the casinos. I can't wait! Foxwoods, here I come. :cool:

After seeing Destiny and honeykid's posts, I was waiting for something like that. :cool: Thanks, Mark, and yeah--one year to go before I'm sitting at one of those tables myself. I have a sucky job and don't have a lot of money, so I won't be playing anywhere near the big games, but $1/$2 No Limit Texas Hold'em is going to be my game and I'm gonna be more than happy with it. I figure a couple of times a month, maybe.

Also, thanks to everyone else who has given me more good Birthday wishes since my last post here. :) Sadly, the day's just about over, and first thing tomorrow: work. Ah, well. As the closing line in Cloverfield says: I had a good day.

The Witchblade Compendium: Volume 1

As I mentioned briefly before, it's a massive graphic novel collecting Issues #1-50 of Witchblade, tied with Superman, my favorite comic book character of all time.

It's hardcover and really sweet, about 1,200 pages long. :cool: And I've already gotten almost half-way through it in just a couple of days. Heh.

Also, just in case you were confused by it, the book on the left of those pictures is the Witchblade Compendium: Volume 2 (collecting Issues #51-100). Don't ask me how I got Volume 2 before I got Volume 1. :D Then, the book to the farthest left (if you can see it in those pics, that is) is the Art of Witchblade book.

So yeah--I've gotten pretty big into this character since I watched the television series a few months ago. :cool:

Although you've done well with the presents Dom, I would point out that these aunts of yours appear to have given you some sort of 'monoply money'. Either that or really bad counterfeit notes. I mean, look at that picture, it looks absolutely nothing like the Queen. It's not even close. :D
