Tough choice but I think I'll go with the director of my favourite film of all time.

I'm torn. Maybe I'll vote later.

This was pretty tough, but I ended up going with Scorsese.

Very difficult. Gotta go with Kubrick in the end.

If you "gotta go with Kubrick" you still have to vote for him. I only see my vote up there.

Tough one, Kubrick is such a brilliant director, yet I seem to enjoy Scorsese's work more.

This is rigged, I tell you.
I'll have to come back to this one, they're both pretty much equal for me.

Such a hard choice to make but went with Kubrick in the end. He just has too many classics. This could have easily have been the final.

Going back over Kubrick's movies I do appreciate him more - but I don't think he's been as consistently great as Scorsese.

Tough one, my vote's taken it back to a draw. Think Kubrick is a more exciting director, stretching himself across genre whereas Scorsese film's all have a similar feel to them.
Marty. Just flat-out more consistent, and far more entertaining. Then again, I've never entirely bought into the whole Kubrick thing.

I can't help but disagree with that. Scorsese and Kubrick both have been able to intertwine through different genres. If anything, I know that I'm watching a Kubrick film before I know I'm watching a Scorsese film.

Marty. I'll take Mean Streets, Taxi Driver, Raging Bull, The King Of Comedy, After Hours, Goodfellas, Casino, and The Departed thanks.

I just watched Mean Streets a little while ago, and it just makes me happier that I voted for Scorsese.
The results are appalling.

Scorcese's are more entertaining but Kubrick's make me think a helluva lot more and i like that. I'll take A Clockwork Orange, 2001: A Space Odyssey and Dr. Strangelove over pretty much anything...=\ they're all three on my top ten i didn't even realize that my top ten is 30% Kubrick haha
I think I'm the only person who doesn't care for Scorcese. :bawling:

I thought you loved Taxi Driver and Raging Bull, though? Anyways, I don't think you've seen some of Scorsese's great movies like Gangs Of New York, Cape Fear, or Mean Streets.

I'm glad to hear you liked Mean Streets, MovieMan.
