Excellent, didn't know Cronenberg made it. Have to vote for him but stiff competition there with Pecks

Turns out we were 2 short when doing it, so I just took two from your post. I had to go for Peckinpah just for the Wild Bunch, though.

Damn, I can't vote because I haven't seen Peckinpah's work. I have Straw Dogs from Netflix, too, but I haven't watched it yet.

Whadaya mean, Lynch ain't in it? I saw someone nominate him which meant i didn't have to. I'm sure of it! Man, that would suck if that Atom chap is in it and Lynch isn't.

Cronenberg; never liked Peckinpah all that much.

History of Violence is one of my favorite films.

This is really tough, both have made films I love...

Cronenberg.

I believe I did...

Ingmar Bergman and David Lynch.

Honourable mention for Richard Linklater.

I'm a little pissed that my post got ignored (did I need to post a picture for someone to pay any attention or something?). It got about 5 +rep points as well - WTF?

Eh, what's done is done. Anyway, in regards to the poll right now...hmm. I've seen more Cronenberg than Peckinpah, but in the end both directors only have one film that I genuinely thought was great. I'm going to give it to Peckinpah.

I watched Straw Dogs last night and voted for Peckinpah earlier today. I like Cronenberg, but damn.
