Does anyone remember when The History Channel actually had programming about factually based past events? Unlike now, where the programming is mostly crackpot conspiracy theories and modern technology. There is very little on the network that has any historical merit, except for hearsay.

YES. Why is something called "The HISTORY Channel" full of shows about UFOs, the end of the world, etc?
Besides that, I'm actually reading an interesting book about UFOs right now. It's called "Flying Saucers and Science" by Stanton Friedman, who's probably been featured on UFO shows on The History Channel -- he looks familiar to me, anyways. It's actually a pretty compelling book, unlike other things I've checked out.
