PULP FICTION REVIEW
Director: Quentin tarentino
Year of release: 1994
Starring: Samuel L. Jackson, John Travolta, Uma Thurman, Bruce Willis

so at first the non-linear storyline storyline and multiple storys knocked me around a bit and il admit i didnt understand it. Passing it off as a confusing, overhyped cult flick which belonged simply on the shelves of fans of naruto and donnie darko.

After giving this 1994 action-drama another glance i realized that apart from some of this being true (the donnie darko fan part and the cult status part) the movie on a whole was a humerous, intrueging and enthralling drama. the multiple plot lines and extended scene lenghts add to the crechendo at the end which complecatedly, if obscurely, ties all of the storys together. although good performances are put in by most leading actors the plot goes off on some obscure tangents. leading to some cofusion of the plot.

Tarentino does a good job of tieing the plot to two(ish) simple(ish) endings. even though tough to understad at some points this is a highly reccomended film.

THE WATERBOY
director: frank coraci
staring: adam sandler
year of release: 1998

Ok, this is your classic american feel good comedy, starring adam sandler, there is not much to say about this film, i mean, its funny at points and the simple storyline is basically the same as most american comedys- introduction, problem, resolution. its nothing that keeps you guessing. at all. the story is more predictable than the ending of a kids tv program.
even though this movie is aimed towards adults and teens it relies off childrens comedy to get laughs which, although fewand far between, there were some.
although you can always guess the endings in these typical family comedys, theres always something that makes you want to see how it plays out.
slightly funny but nothing special.

6/10

Paco (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0397212/): Look at Bobby tackle. I haven't seen a tackle like that since Joe Montana.
Walter (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0184445/): Joe Montana was a quarterback, you idiot.
Paco (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0397212/): I said Joe Mantegna.

I would like to give this movie a 10/10 but stupidity does not make up for the extra 4 points! I agree 6/10

Rat him out...

Check the I.P. Address to bust him. I've been down that road before, and I'm not going back because, I. I took the one less traveled by and that has made all the difference.

Wow, that's weird; I just recently read that poem in English 102. Robert Frost is very good.

Can't be king of movies, he would have had some comment to make about how Pulp Fiction is really old...;)

OCEANS TWELVE
DIRECTOR: STEPHEN SODERBERG
STARRING George Clooney (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/George_Clooney) Brad Pitt (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brad_Pitt) Matt Damon (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Matt_Damon) Catherine ZetaJones (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Catherine_Zeta-Jones) Andy Garcia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Andy_Garcia) Don Cheadle (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Don_Cheadle)Bernie Mac (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bernie_Mac)
YEAR OF RELEASE: 2004

This film, the sequel to "oceans eleven", tells the story of danny ocean and his team of twelve bandits undertaking a "theif-off", if you will, with another thief known as "the night fox".
on the first vviewing of this film i can admit that i didnt understand the plot or the weird flashback ending. after a more detailed look i relised that the writers must have put much thought into the storyline. the amount of twists and turns is unparralelled, even within the heist genra.
Although the vast array(and i mean there is a sh!tload of them) of stars work well together well, it almost seems that the movie is somehow OVERstarred, they all try to shine in their own right but seem to overpower one another. One combination tht did catch my eye is clooney-pitt. They seem to complement each others acting styles. i wasnt such a big fan of Don Cheadles fake accent though, i mean, cant they just of cast him as an american? it adds nothing that he is british whatsoever.
lastly, the choice of name is a bit cliche. if the movie series is to continue then they cant just introduce new characters and add on to the sum total.
all round this is a movie that uses dry comedy well and which has a plot that is interesting and entertaining, albiet complecated.
a good film.
