I bought my DVD copy in Hong Kong, and it was a special edition with an extra disc for extra features. There's also a cool book with photos and scenes from the movie. I highly recommend it. i wrote a review about it.

You can also Google it by typing excabel The Warlords. Like other Asian period pieces, it has great cinematography, cast and story. What separates it are the great battle scenes with toned down wuxia scenes to keep it a historical drama. Yes, Jet Li transcended into a dramatic actor here and won Best Actor here in the 2007 Hong Kong Film Awards. His cast-mates are two of Asia's best, but he held his own and gained appreciation from them and his director. In the disc features, they call Jet Li The Master and needed him as the missing piece of the film. Truly great.
