It should be noted these are Region 1 releases. And you've included a few of the "big" new releases for each week, but you haven't included older catalog titles, new special editions or television shows. For example, this week you have Forbidden Kingdom, Baby Mama and The Fall listed but not the second seasons of "Ugly Betty" and "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia", the fourth seasons of "Grey's Anatomy" and "Medium", sixth season of "CSI: MIami", seventh seasons of "Smallville" and "Wings", new editions of Cool Hand Luke and How the West Was Won, the Fox Horror Classics 2 boxed set with Chandu the Magician, Dr. Renault's Secret and Dragonwyk and on and on and on. A couple dozen more for this week, and that doesn't even count the new Blu-Ray titles.

So, like, I don't see the point of this thread. There are bunches of sites that list every DVD being released, week-by-week. Three or four of the titles from each week doesn't do much.

I don't think.

For November 2nd you have nothing listed while I'm salivating for the Budd Boetticher boxed set which includes the DVD debuts of The Tall T, Ride Lonesome, Decision at Sundown, Buchanan Rides Alone and Comanche Station!

That week also has the thriller Transsiberian, the Luke Wilson dramedy Henry Poole was Here, another "Futurama" movie called Bender's Game, the first season of "Spin City", the seventh season of "JAG", a two-disc extended edition of Waterworld (because you demanded it!), Too Young To Die: A Tribute to Joey Ramone, The Gregory Peck Film Collection boxed set of To Kill a Mockingbird, Cape Fear (1962), Arabesque, Mirage, The World in His Arms and Captain Newman, M.D., Emmet Otter's Jug-Band Christmas and the "ultimate" edition of A Christmas Story which will come in a special cookie tin that includes a collectible 48-page cookbook with recipes inspired by the movie, photos and quotes from the movie, a red chef's apron with the A Christmas Story logo on it, five cookie cutters "in iconic Christmas Story shapes" (looks like a star, a house, a leg lamp, Ralphie in his bunny suit, and what may be Peking Duck). So all of those, among others.

Hardly a zero-mention DVD release week.
