View Full Version : Blackadder
Who are the fans of this great series then? I grew up waching Blackadder and think it is fantastic and hilarious. I did have the complete collection on DVD but due to an accident involving my little sister-in-laws foot I no longer have it.
Still im a massive fan of Rowan Attkinson and Blackadder is possibily the best he has done.

"Put your underpants on your head, stick two pencils up your nose and say A-wibble" Blackadder Goes Fourth.
Is there no fans here, this is a classic comedy! Everyone should watch it there are 4 seasons and it is sooooooooooo funny!
Havent seen it in years
Blackadder: You see, the thing about heaven is that heaven is for people who like the sort of things that go on in heaven. Like, well, singing, talking to God, watering pot plants.
- The Archbishop
Blackadder: Oh, God, God, God! What on earth was I drinking last night? My head feels like there's a Frenchman living in it.
- Chains
I used to have the complete 4 seasons on DVD but due to a small lil-sister managing to brake them all in one go I no longer have them. But it is one of my favorite colmedys of all time!

Blackadder is/was superb, though I wasn't a fan of the first series. It works so much better in a studio and on tape rather than film. Also, I like Baldrick stupid.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

Ahh those were the days ! I remember when blackadder goes forth was first screened on telly, i was living at home with my parents, if i was going out on the night it was left for my dad to tape for me, he would be on strict instructions Not to mess it up! (i used to be very uptight about my films, tv shows etc, :( )
obviously it had to happen ! I can still remember my poor dad's face when i came home that night , god i was bitch back then , but with age comes apathy. :D
Anyway blackadder goes forth was the best then 2, then 3, the first series watchable, my m8 bought the 6 disc boxset for my b'day last year
whenever i'm feeling down on goes blackadder & co!

Oh, I love Blackadder too. The 4th series is the best, I think, but 2 and 3 have their charms. The first not so much, but it still has its moments, especially all the Shakespearian references. :)
I love Blackadder it is great I still watch it every now and again and I id hear rumours a few years ago that there was supposidly a 5th series... Does anyone know anything about this? I cant seem to find any information about, or is there a new episode perhaps...

There was a Christmas special, and there was a one-off special involving a modern Blackadder time travelling called 'Back and Forth' in 1999...is that what you're thinking of?

There's often talk of another series and they do keep coming up with ideas for it. I don't see it happening though and, in truth, it's probably best that it doesn't.

I agree honeykid, even though the specials were ok .
I don't think they will get all the cast back for a start & I don't believe they could top Blackadder goes forth. So as much as i'd like to see them back for a new series, sometimes it's best to leave well alone.
They did it to abs fab & it was never as good as it was .
