Bastardo!

So I saw this kind of interesting DVD questionnaire over at another forum while checking out a review. With a few alterations, I thought it might provide some fun over here.
I'll give you the blank template first, just copy and paste into your post and fill it in. Feel free to suggest any additional questions:
How Many DVD's Are There In Your Collection:
Preferred DVD Ordering System (a-z/genre/random):
Are You Multi-Region:
First Ever DVD Bought :
Last DVD Bought :
Most Watched DVDs:
Favourite Packaging / Cover Art:
Favourite Extras:
Most Represented Genre In Your Collection:
Oldest Film In Your Collection:
DVD You Wish You Hadn't Bought:
Your DVD Wishlist (Released or Not):
You Are Leaving Civilization To Stay On A Desert Island. You May Only Take 3 DVD's. What Are They:
What DVD Would Most Disappoint You If You Received It As A Gift?
p.s. I know some of these questions have been asked in other threads, but I was just looking for an overall feel of your collections. Answers can just relate to one or two different DVD's for each question, or as detailed as you like, it's up to you.

How Many DVD's Are There In Your Collection?
A lot. Haven't done an official count in quite a while, but around 4,000 titles, probably more than that at this point. I wouldn't be at all surprised if it is closer to 5,000. Plus about 500 on LaserDisc, and a couple boxes of VHS still kickin' around, though I've burned many of those to DVD now.
Preferred DVD Ordering System (a-z/genre/random)?
Varies, though I don't do any alphabetizing. I've got lots by director (then chronologically for each filmmaker). Most of the others are at least generally by genre, but kinda all over the place. Though I'd say I know where everything is, pretty much.
Are You Multi-Region?
Yes.

Not counting any pre-orders, this past week it was The Counterfeiters, Pete Seeger: The Power of Song and The Rolling Stones: Shine a Light. There's a whole thread keeping track of this elsewhere on the site.
Most Watched DVDs?
I don't know how to possibly answer that. I watch many of my favorites over and over again, multiple times per year. Dr. Strangelove, Casablanca, Singin' in the Rain, Young Frankenstein, GoodFellas, After Hours, Blade Runner, Miller's Crossing...any of those will probably do, but there are six dozen others and I can't say definitively, of course.
Favorite Packaging?
http://tbn0.google.com/images?q=tbn:4gj-_5Uc9Pl8EM:http://blog.calaveracomics.com/uploaded_images/briefcase-747030.jpg http://tbn0.google.com/images?q=tbn:sy3qJCf0lXPqjM:http://www.thedigitalbits.com/articles/br2007/bladerunner5discultimatedvd.jpg
Meaning favorite cover art or the packaging itself? There is at least one existing thread on favorite DVD covers. As for the physical packaging, it's hard to beat the "briefcase" and the Blade Runner set.
Favorite Extras?
http://tbn0.google.com/images?q=tbn:g147AG8uf1epJM:http://emulsioncompulsion.com/wp-content/uploads/2007/11/blade-runner.jpg http://tbn0.google.com/images?q=tbn:U6EGX0ap14rF3M:http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/1/11/BladeRunner_Unicorn.jpg/200px-BladeRunner_Unicorn.jpg http://tbn0.google.com/images?q=tbn:LUi7pmWUkvFgiM:http://scribble.com/uwi/br/brfaq/unicorn3.jpg
And this time are you looking for supplements on the discs or physical extras? If I have to say an extra on a disc, I'll go with Dangerous Days, the three and a half hour comprehensive making-of contained in that Blade Runner set. As for a physical extra, I'll stay right there and go with the plastic silver unicorn representing Gaff's origami unicorn at the end of Blade Runner that, once again, can be found in that briefcase.
Most Represented Genre In Your Collection?
http://tbn0.google.com/images?q=tbn:H60Jj27Wtx3O6M:http://www.filmreference.com/images/sjff_03_img0965.jpg http://tbn0.google.com/images?q=tbn:ExiAw6YEvFeIiM:http://www.geocities.com/Area51/Shire/3566/clock/johnnyc.jpg http://tbn0.google.com/images?q=tbn:Kc6ldRPaHESCJM:http://www.gonemovies.com/WWW/WanadooFilms/Misdaad/goodfellas7.jpg
Depends on how you define it, but probably Crime and/or Noir.
Oldest Film In Your Collection?
http://tbn0.google.com/images?q=tbn:FCsDKfdSpA1FXM:http://www.filmsquish.com/guts/files/images/333px-Great_train_robbery_still.jpg http://tbn0.google.com/images?q=tbn:nQV2I8Y0G6I3sM:http://bp3.blogger.com/_6IKgtvKaz4Y/SAzif9cK1SI/AAAAAAAAAIQ/sXd7gpGsKi8/s320/TRAIN4.bmp
The Great Train Robbery (1903), I guess. Though I'd have to check and be sure. I have some DVDs with early Silent compilations, so there may well be something that pre-dates Edwin S. Porter's picture.
DVD You Wish You Hadn't Bought?
I don't think I have any of those. There are plenty I've bought and then subsequently sold for one reason or another, but even those I don't regret.
Your DVD Wishlist (Released or Not)?
http://tbn0.google.com/images?q=tbn:1d9tsNQDlDn5VM:http://www.cinemaisdope.com/news/films/greed/greed.jpg http://tbn0.google.com/images?q=tbn:_9ZXcvn0-nKqIM:http://www.findagrave.com/photos250/photos/2003/28/7126906_1043863178.jpg
Can't possibly list all the announced DVDs I'm planning on picking up, and there is an existing thread that asks for the as of yet unreleased ones you're waiting for. I guess just to give an answer I'll go with Erich von Stroheim's notoriously butchered Silent epic Greed (1925). I'd want the best restored and most complete edition available, plus lots of supplemental material about the history of the film and descriptions of the lost scenes.
You Are Leaving Civilization To Stay On A Desert Island. You May Only Take 3 DVDs. What Are They?
http://tbn0.google.com/images?q=tbn:1Y2ViQg7wRmIJM:http://imagecache2.allposters.com/IMAGES/21/GDFELLS.JPG http://tbn0.google.com/images?q=tbn:mOIxEDDags0a5M:http://kinokult.com/wp-content/uploads/2007/04/casablanca_poster.jpg http://tbn0.google.com/images?q=tbn:v2kZ4MafGqF7tM:http://www.impawards.com/1974/posters/young_frankenstein.jpg
I don't know why I'd make the decision to leave then only be able to take three, but for sheer replay value I guess I'd go with GoodFellas, Casablanca and Young Frankenstein. But of course the question is silly, even as an abstract hypothetical. Asking me to pare down 5,000 to three is impossible. I couldn't even pick just three Scorsese movies to take with me over the others.
What DVD Would Most Disappoint You If You Received It As A Gift?
I dunno. The Waterboy? There are plenty. But I don't know how disappointed I'd be, I'd just exchange it for something else or sell it.
