I am not sure if I am posting this in the correct forum as I looked for 'Introductions' but could not seem to locate it :(


Anyway, I am a mid-40s western movie fan, I live in Manchester, England with my wife Diane and have one daughter

I work as a truck driver - not great but it pays the bills :)

My main hobby is running a John Wayne Discussion Forums here in the U.K. which I enjoy doing

I collect Duke books, DVD's and most other stuff :)

I hope to make a start on reading the 1000's of interesting threads here which will probably take me to retirement :D

Anyway, thanks for reading and look forward to getting to know you real soon

Not everyone likes John Wayne as my dad used to say - 'each to their own'

My wife dislikes him

But that said, I think he's great, I love his movies

Anyone else whom is a Duke fan then take a mooch at my J.W. site :)

One member there has lots of Duke stories to tell as he was in Duke movies and also worked as a pilot, flying Duke to locations etc

So a very interesting fella to know
