Not sure if there is a reason why a "putting videos in threads" topic isn't in the FAQ section of this fully operational website, but it sure would help me because...well because I'm a lazy ass! Just thinkin'.;)

I'm not sure what you're asking, but if it's how to put youtube videos in a post, you copy the link and press the little play button next to the spoilers tag.

Aye, it's fairly simple, but Tim is absolutely right. I'd even mentioned to Sedai a couple months back that I'm going to have to overhaul the Help area at some point in the near future. I'm probably a few weeks away from being able to think about starting such a thing, but it's definitely on the To-Do list.

Chris, I just wonder how much time you have in a day; it's like, the rest of us have 24 hours, and you've got like 56! Don't you ever feel spread too thin? Your girlfriend must be a Saint (can a woman be a Saint?)!

Heh, well, my job is part-time, and I make just enough on these things that I can spend a fair amount of time on web development. And I put a special emphasis on trying to build sites and features that rely heavily on automation. But I also put plenty of things off, so I'm still biting off just a little more than I can chew at times. But thanks all the same. :)

They can indeed; there's a ton of 'em (http://www.catholic.org/saints/female.php). And yes, she's absolutely wonderful and terribly patient about it when I'm particularly busy.

I am having problems with this ... :(

I open the U-Tube page and then copy the embedded code ... then do I use this code to post here ... if so what else do I do???

On the "Go Advanced" page, press on the last tab on the right (the green Play arrow). You should get this: [*YOUTUBE][*/YOUTUBE] (without the asterisks). Enter the url from your YouTube video inside there. Be sure to preview the video before you post because sometimes the url doesn't copy properly.

I should note that you should not use YouTube's own embedded URL. I thought it might be simpler to just let people copy the address from their address bar, so use that one. :)
