Spinal Tap -- 4 hour cut, i got on VHS

I actually just got in the mail a spinal tap 4 hour cut on VHS. go to imdb.com and go to trivia and it talks about the 'rumored' cut. I don't know why I got it, only for about 20 $ and it was VHS (don't even have a player). The guy told me you just can't find it anywhere (even conventions and such..) and it has lots of unseen materials. He said it's a rough cut never shown in public by rob reiner and has extra sub plots, scenes etc.. you guys think this is worth anything?

is it really as rare as he is saying?

Considering the bulk of this material is inluded on the LaserDisc and two different DVDs on the market, no, I don't think it's worth all that much.
