Ok, I'm starting to realize that all I do on the web anymore is come...here. So the title that shows up every now and then in the title bar, "Legally Addictive", is true. I mean I'm even visiting this place at work, ALL THE TIME.
So, what else do YOU do while you're surfin the web?

Well, there IS a lot to do here, so that's not TOO weird.
I have a writers' web site that I tend to visit compulsively. (They don't have email notification -- very text-based -- so I obsessively worry that I'm missing something if I don't check it every ten seconds.)
I also open up ICQ and/or AIM a couple times a day to say howdy to my mom in Vegas or friends as far away as Australia and Greece and Alaska.
I also use Writersmarket.com to do research about publishing markets -- for stuff I'm writing, and also to dig up publishers for whom I might do freelance work proofreading and/or typesetting.
Other than that, I surf as things come up -- some research here, some joke links sent by my retired-and-nothing-better-to-do-than-send-joke-emails mother, some e-commerce, and a lot of nothing serious.
Good question! And here I thought TWT was the only one who "lived" here.

Heck, no, a few people seem to camp out here more often than I do now. :) Aside from MoFo, I spend most of my time on Amazon.com, ESPN.com, IMDB.com, SitePointForums.com, MovieHeadlines.net and various miscellaneous stuff...most of which is related to movies...Yahoo! Movies is pretty good. I've only got maybe half a dozen sites that I visit regularly, though.
aside from doing the e-mail and e-card thaaaang..i am headed straight for this place....my favorite respite from the nondigitized world....and i surf whenever i hear about an interesting site and want to check into it, want to try to find a certain product (usually running clothes, or sporting goods and clothing sites), or go looking for cool art or art supplies. i have never purchases anything over the internet.....but i pretend i'm going to and just bag out before i get to the credit card part.

i check my computer about three times a day for the sole purpose of this site. But my other computer time is usually browsing other websites and chatting on AIM or ICQ

*waves at the addicts and sits in the back of the room, last chair, in the shadows*
hehe. i used to come a lot more often. harder now, i feel guilty doing it from work.
this site, an online RPG, email (yahoo, hotmail), stats for my personal site, an erotic forum, bank account, credit card accounts, bills, and shopping are what i mainly use the web for. occasional program/software download/updates, research on gifts (ie, shopping/comparison) and on video game reviews.
oh, and a lot of chat. I have somany people on ICQ i rarely use it now cuz my computer becomes a blaze of message poking (you there? wanna chat? whatcha doin? where ya been? ...) ... yahoo messenger, MSN messenger, AIM ... whew. yeah. can make the hands tired. ;)
I am addicted to downloading music. (Blame Napster 4 that!)
there is always 1 more song 2 download!
Sites I check daily:
Penny Arcade (http://www.penny-arcade.com)
Slashdot (http://www.slashdot.org)
Cstrike Arena Wars (recently hired to write for) (http://cstrike.arenawars.com/)
and this site of course.:p
But I usually get sucked into wasting a fair amount of time on mIRC, it's TOO distracting!!! And if I'm ever online I'm on ICQ, and usually AIM. Thats aboot it.

Liked hired hired? Cash/dough/money hired? :D If so, congrats. If not, well, it's still cool.
Nah, I'm doing it for free, wouldn't want to get paid. Plus I have to do 150 hours of "community" service, and that counts.:p
 Writing for a website as Community Service...what'd ya do? Beat the crap outta Marky Mark? Krusty the Clown immedietly springs to mind whenever I think of Community Service, BTW.
Haha, I even wormed my way in to getting my hours spent playing Counter-Strike.:p
Mr. Nichols, the guy in charge of the program, said since it is considered a community, and I don't get paid, then I can count it. I can also count anything I write for this site, which I will get around to doing at some point.:D
Oh, as to why I have to do it. I'm in this program called "IB" (International Bachelorette), which is only in something like 100 schools in the US, and 200 overseas. Anyways, part of the requirement to get the full diploma is I have to do 150 hours of community service.:(

 Counter-Strike a community service. HAHAHAHAHA
I used to download music all the time, but just don't listen to music on my computer much anymore. I will sometimes, but not all the time. Plus, I don't know what's popular and all that when I don't listen to the radio much and don't have MTV....I'm deprived...ARGH...

a)
MovieForums -- I'm here all the time. Pretty good for a place I found totally by accident.
b)
Indie Film North -- it's kind of less homeley than this, which sucks, but the people I am close to over there, well, we're pretty close.
c)
E-mail -- checking it all the time, compulsivley. I choose not to get e-mail notification from MoFo, but I'm still always checking it because of many reasons.
d)
MSN -- this is what I use to keep in contact with everyone I've ever met online (in a nutshell). Basically, it was the sole tool used in writing Oblivion with a mate in Canada.
e)
Zoetrope Studios Online -- when I want to read something I go here, and now I go even more that Oblivion is online and getting reviews.
f)
Misc. -- Whenever something comes up that I want to look into (Shakespeare's drug habits, Walt Disney the Fascist and the symbolism behind both Alice in Wonderland and Dr. Strangelove have all been subjects I've done online research projects on in the past), I use the net. It was, funnily enough, a search for rasicm in Disney films that brought me to MoFo. Haven't left since.
I log on to:
MoFo
Dark Horizons
Corona's Coming Attractions
IMDB Pro
The Haven ( X-Files site)
BTTF.com
.....and download media on Morpheus
