My name is Erin and I am 13 years old and going to be 14 on Decemeber 2nd. I am in the 9th grade and live in California where I love to do acting, modeling jobs, singing, Irish Dancing, watch movies, listen to music, and just have fun. I am originally from Dublin, Ireland and moved to California when I was 2 years old. I really enjoy movies and really would like to talk about them. So that is just about enough from me. Tootles for now.

Erin ;D

I welcomed you elsewhere, but maybe I'm not up on when you can start kindergarten. Did you skip a grade? My wife says that December 2nd is the cutoff, so maybe you snuck in under the wire.

You are correct that my birthday is the cutoff date, but that is not the reason. I skipped the 2nd grade. Went from 1st to 3rd grade.;D

Wow! I skipped the second grade too (after a whole two weeks). Four of us all skipped the Second grade WAAAAAAAAY back in Sept. 1963. That, combined with the JFK assassination, weighed a lot on my wittle head back then. Welcome again, and I'm glad I figured it out and that IT WAS 2nd grade. :)

Hee Hee, 2nd grade must be one of those grades that a lot of kids skip. ;D

Not me. In fact they asked if I thought I should do it again. :D

Not really, but they sure didn't offer to promote me.

Yeah, I have a friend who likes to wear as a Badge of Honor the fact that the school asked his parents whether he shouldn't start Kindergarten when he was already five, and they said YES!!

Now, whooda thunk that of the great Toose? ;D

You just made me think back in third grade to the days when there was the basic, average and advanced group in my Eastern Tennessee grade school and all three of my teachers took me out in the hall one day and threatened to "promote" me down to the "average" group if I didn't behave. I still marvel to this day that we were even segregated into a "basic, average and advanced" group.

I also still don't behave:nope:.

Doesn't sound like those are your problems, Lil Miss Diva.

I do enjoying learning for the most part, but I also enjoy the social part of school and everything. Cheerleading, parties and stuff like that are so much fun. Oh and there are quite a few cute boys floating around the school too. ;D

To borrow a weird turn of phrase from from Yoda, my grades in school were 'startlingly average'.

I was actually a bit too busy getting into trouble. My brother and I were both on a first name basis with the neighborhood cops as our house was usually the first visited when things went awry. They either suspected that we did whatever it was they were pursuing or that we knew about it.

He was the bad one though. I never actually went to jail :rotfl:

My junior year in HS though I buckled down because I wanted to go to college over a stint in the military. My brother scared me with his basic training stories :D

We both turned out okay though. If you ask my mom that is.
