Ok, saw this while I was looking at DVDs to buy today, and was wanting to know about it. I know the basic story is that the guy starts to follow people home because he has nothing to do or something like that.

Is it worth buying, renting, just looking at the cover??? Please help me out here.

Well, something like that.

I liked it, it's a good little movie. The R1 DVD has a commentary track, which I've only listened to part of, but is quite good. Very low-budget, yet very well crafted and efficient for a do-it-yourself effort. I can see why it got Nolan the attention and ability to get Memento made.

Following is a non-linear story (though not gimmicky), a nice Noirish tale of robbery and murder, with a couple swell twists along the way.

Thanks for the info Holden. Somehow, I knew you would reply to this thread. :D

So for now, it's strictly rental(if I can find it anywhere), if I like it...it's a keeper. :D

This one still hasn't been released in Oz but I havebeen dying to see it for years now. Will probably order the R1 version as this is high on my must see list.

Anything by Christopher Nolan must hold more than a little merit.

In Kong's opinion it's a very strong film. It's one of those films whose lack of budget was actually a good thing, because it leaves the film void of superficial additives that would have otherwise distracted the viewer from the puzzle at hand. What really propels this movie is the non-linear structure; Nolan tells the story in a deft and unique manner that demands attention. A very good modern Noir.

Great Movie. I feel more rewatchable than Memento but not as enjoyable as a first viewing compared to Memento
