i thought seeing as i have a job where i sit around all day bored online i should make the most of this time by coming back to movieforums. however, it seems that my old username has been blocked of such things as posting messages. :( is there a way of becoming a user again? if not ill just keep this one.

I poked around the user database, and it looks like you were probably sisboombah (http://www.movieforums.com/community/member.php?u=1081), yes? If so, it appears you updated the email address in your profile, but never clicked on the activation link sent to confirm the new address.

I've gone ahead and emailed a new activation link to the email address on file for your old username. If you don't have access to it for some reason, let me know and we can work something out. :)
