With holidays coming up and all, I'm assuming people may be visiting family or gallivanting around their native homeland with Christmas trees and eskimos and the like and hence I've started this thread as my own goodbye which others are welcome to add to as they embark on a sleigh for Christmas.

I'm off to Mallacoota, a beach in New South Wales, Australia.
I'll be gone for nine days, I hope you all have a safe and enjoyable Christmas. Don't get too cold.

:)

I'll be enjoying the fun of doing nothing. Haven't done that in so long, I'm anticipating it. :D

I'll still be here of course. Can't get rid of me that easily.

I'll be here all throughout the Holidays...at home. Either house, I'll still be on MoFo. :)

I will be right here for the Holidays...and even if I wasn't...I'd still manage to post, can't let you guys have any fun without me.:)

Yeah, these are the best people to spend the Holidays with. You know who they are, you're not like trying to avoid them, and worried that you might get the fruitcake this year.

friutcake or socks. I hate getting socks. It's like I know how to buy socks!

Last year I got cologne. Actually, my aunt got cologne for my cousin and I...I never used it. :)...

I hate saying what I want for Christmas. I just say...give me money. :D

Back to topic.

i'm not going anywhere either........i always like the holidays because so many people leave....although christmas might be the exception wherein everyone stays home.......and especially this year after all the terrorism. but usually the roads and stores are less crowded, and work is slower and more mellow. it's not as if i live in a super populated city....i just like space, and small numbers of people. i'd have cardiac arrest if i had to deal with an elbow-to-elbow airport setting with all the people flying somewhere for christmas. i know people who do it every year. bleck.

yeah, the act of getting to a nice place sucks. but the nice place is nice. i'm sorta glad i'm not duking it out in an airport this year though i'm beginning to wonder about how smart it was to pass up hawaii. but i must perservere!

i shall be here. but for circumstances i shan't explain, i may very well be alone on xmas eve and day. and i'm contemplating that. i will probably get phone calls, but i have no live tree and the people i'd celebrate with are 1) working that day or 2) going home. there are presents but they won't get exchanged till after.

interesting. i'm realizing that the cultural norm would have me spend it with at least ONE person. should i be upset? lonely?

i'm pondering. no real feeling on it yet. i suppose if i do get a reaction i'll find a solution.

What is with this existentialist sentiment? "Should I be alone?" "Should I be upset?" Hmmm...sorry to pick on you "thmilin," just a lousy day at work. :) Please don't think I'm trolling, cause I'm not... :P Oh, and btw, Hawai'i is over-rated, unless of course, you like to take sun in all day or fish.

Thought this was an Arnold S. thread in the beginning...

Oh my... what did I just peruse, what did I just read?! Jeebus, for lack of a better word. It's been a while, it's been a long while, since I read something so profound and awe-inspiring and so liberating, although I hesitate long enough to catch myself before uttering something that I may regret. Wow... I guess I'm glad I clicked on your link before responding to your post, Thmilin. :p

It may be inappropriate to respond in this manner - and in this forum for that matter - of your site, but I also don't want to come off as a "creep" when responding via e-mail, especially when hardly anyone here knows me yet and when that is the only thing for which you can judge.

All I can say is (and I'll try to keep this PG rated for all intensive purposes), I've read various "literary" pieces from various sites, magazines and etc., who deal with "adult" content and expressions that were completely uninventive, forced and lacking imagination, while your site rekindles a little faith within me for the written word when in concerns *ahem*, well, you know what I mean (since I won't write it here). Rock on with your liberation!! I haven't felt free (although I continually struggle with it) since college. I shouldn't let social conventions and social politics dictate the way I live, but alas, I have to make a living and advance in life. There is so much irony in what I just said isn't there? Oh well.

On a different note it should be said that this site is very cool, and filled with very cool and unique people. I'm happy I've stumbled upon it. The Commish seems very embroiled in this site and rightly so - it's good to be passionate about somthing this good :); Sades just seems cool and laid back; Spud just seems like the joker; and the rest I'm just figuring out, although I should give credit to "Silver Bullet", "Toose" et al because I've seen their names quite a few times as well. I hope I get a chance to hand around.

Cheers-

I have been considered a class clown from time to time. :D

Of course, that was back when I was in school, not teaching at school, although I still like to joke around. :)

Don't worry, tired, I'm sure we all know what you mean. Miriam is obviously one helluva writer...I wouldn't put much past her abilities in that arena. And thank you for the kind words; hopefully I'll be able to live up to them. :)

Well, as of this afternoon I'm off for the weekend.

Tonight I have to go and compete in the state final with my hyper-depresso speech, and hopefully I blitz the competition there.

Then I'm off to the state capital straight after that for the fringe festival. I'm hoping to see a heap of films and such. I'm coming back on Sunday night, but I'll probably have homework to do by that stage.

So I won't be hear over the weekend which is usually my big posting/shouting time. But beware. I will return.

And I will conquer.

Wish me luck!
Love you all!
Fare thee well.

Off to Adelaide for a few days, for a fly filmmaking contest, which basically means make a film in two days. Should be fun, and I'm looking forward to it.

So there you are. I'm not dead or anything.

Anyways, you'll be missed....*sniff*

Ladies and gents,

In about an hour I am going to watch The Two Towers, sleeping at another house, waking up, going to a place where I don't know exactly whether or not I will have access to the Internet. I will be back just after New Year comes around.

Have an excellent week or two.

Happy New Year!

:D

Why would I delete it. Excrete it, yes. Delete it, no.

Coincidentally, I just completed another pile before logging on this evening. I logged out before I logged on...so to speak.
