Resizing Pictures

How come whenever I resize the pictures in a post, it never works? Is there no way to make them smaller?

I don't think you're supposed to be able to resize them on the fly; the cursor changes, but that's about it (on my end, at least). Anyway, it's not really possible; even if the editor let you resize them, it'd just be squishing the same image into the smaller space; it would take just as much time to download, for example.

If you wanna resize 'em before hosting the pics and displaying them here (presumably that's what you mean and it's what I do) then install Irfanview or similar. All your image manipulation tools in one handy, freeware package. ;)

upload pic in photo bucket and then resize it.
