Spoilers:

Argue with me if you want guys, but nobody checked the story before they packaged this one up and shipped it out. When a movie discredits itself THIS bad, it's not even fun anymore.

1. Travolta takes Jackman back to his house. He shows him this "way cool" computer system that apparently, is vital to his mission. It's stored in an unlocked room of us house, there was a party going on, the hired sex is just walking around freely, and Travolta isn't even there? Uh-huh.

2. Jackman and the two police officers tumble down a CLIFF towards the ocean for like 5 to 10 minutes...and NO ONE gets a scrape, cut, or wound? Sure, okay. Brush a little of the dust off and we're good to go!

3. Jackman goes back to Travolta's only to surprise a half naked Berry in her room. She is wearing what appears to be a wire tap. She tells him she is DEA...hence, the wire tap. we find out later, that was a lie. Berry didn't know Jackman would walk in on her...why the wire tap?

4. This is the best one. Jackman fires a missle launcher at a fleeing helicopter. we're supposed to believe some COMPUTER HACKER knows how to a fire a missle launcher? I wouldn't believe he could fire a gun! He also hits his target with perfect aim? Yeah right!!!!

5. Does Travolta's hair ALWAYS have to look bad? I mean come on, even at the end...Halle Berry changes her hair from that hideous, choppy short cut, to long and straight. Travolta changes his from long with bad highlights...to an even worse haircut, with worse highlights. Not really a plot hole...but something that annoyed me.:D

Counted maybe one actual hole in your list Sadie. The wire was unexplainable.

My favorite part of this blunder was at the end when the guy was transferring funds to travoltas account. When he did it the first time Travolta had his thug check and make sure everything was set.

"We're good" -Thug

Then the funds start to drain out just as the computer guy was leaving the bank. Travolta makes him come back and do it again...and then has it verified again by the same thug.

"We're good"-Thug

---------------------------------

Now Travolta must be the most idiotic crime lord on the face of this earth if he is going to trust this thug twice in the matter of 5 minutes...where he wasn't even right the first time.

Gotta love horrible storywriting....
Steve

p.s. I agree about his hair...yuck!

Well it didnt start to drain out until a few seconds maybe even a minute after it was all transferred. So it wasn't the thug's fault. When Travolta made Jackman do it again and this time if he didn't do it Halle would die, he did it...the thug checked...and it was all there. So really...that isn't a hole....that's just someone not paying attention to the movie while they watch it.

Firing one isn't exact science. You don't have to have a degree to fire one. True, the average american, or any person in the world doesn't know how to fire one, I'm sure it's not that hard to fire one. Target and fire!!

whatever...now you're just being difficult. You think YOU could hit a helicopter with a missle launcher? Pff...YEAH RIGHT! Can you imagine the kick-back that thing must have!

You never know. I mean there wasn't a real extensive background on the characters in this movie. I mean Hugh Jackman's character worked at an oil field. He could have done other things as well. You never know.

That's right YOU never know, and niether do the people who did the movie. Hugh Jackman probably read the script and was like," I get to fire a big thingie? Cool!" No one cared if it made sense or not...it's just an action movie, right? No one cares...you prove their point, spud.

For your list of plot holes at the top. Number four, isn't it made clear that the rocket in the launcher is heat seeking! You don't need perfect aim, just the right direction.

Hmmm..still, your average Joe would have a hard time with it, and a computer hacker? Well, no offense T...but I'm just not sold on the idea... Which reminds me, if this guy spends so much time hackin' into mainframes...how does he have the time to maintain that body?

Did you even pay attention to the movie at all??? He was in prison for hacking into a system and he couldn't touch a computer for so long. So he would generally have to find better things to do.

Well that would explain why he never had sex with Halle Berry...all that prison time...
