I thought this movie was exciting and had some pretty cool scenes, but other than that nothing special.
I did not think owen wilson was good for the role, it just didnt work with him
Too many scenes made u dizzy, and other times they even made me sick.
I didnt think this movie was a waste of time, just not a good use of my time either. A lot of the jokes in the movie were funny, but the movie still would have benefited from not having owen wilson. Gene Hackman was ok, but didnt do enough for me too care that much.
I really like the young actor that played a hip-hop loving bosnian, he was perfect, they should have used him more.

Haven't seen this yet, but agree totally with you on this mecurdius. Owen Wilson, just doesn't seem like someone you would put in the pilot seat of an F-18 or whatever they were flying. Too much of a jokey persona to jump from comedy to action like that. Has to be a transition that occurs over time. You rush something like that and people get confused on what they're going to see. They might say something to the chord of:
Oh, honey look! Owen Wilson is in this movie, it must be funny because he was in Shanghai Noon, and Meet the Parents, and Zoolander.
Granted, he was in The Haunting, and Armageddon, but mostly HE was the comic relief(well sorta, Buscemi took that over in Armageddon).

I haven't seen this movie as it looks like a one-note dumb acton pic, but the only thing that slightly tempts me is Owen Wilson. He's one of my favorite young actors and his brand of humor inserted into such a routine story might make it somewhat watchable.
Also, I haven't seen the frippin' movie, but even I know from the trailer and TV spots that Wilson's character isn't the pilot of the plane. He's the navigator - you know, like that "E.R." guy in Top Gun back when he still had a litlte bit of hair. Personally I'd buy Owen Wilson as either a navigator or a pilot.
But even though I think Gene Hackman is a God, and as much as I like Owen and find him compelling and credible on screen, it's not enough to get me to see Behind Enemy Lines. Definitely a DVD rental, or maybe even just a plain ol' Pay-Per-View some boring night when there's absolutely nothing else on.

one other thing about this movie was that there were a lot of times when i thought it would have made a better video game than a movie
