Boy, I thought I was the only one who ever gave someone hot sauce for Christmas. ;) (In my case, it was a joke -- I still give even the adult "kids" stockings full of silly stuff, and one year my stepson got a big jar of Red Hot Sauce in his stocking.

I got a 4-month subscription to Netflix, a mini-fridge, the entire run of Sports Night on DVD, and a whole bunch of giftcards (Best Busy, Target, and Wal-Mart), one of which I've already used on a few computer games. I've got another Christmas of sorts coming up just after the New Year, though, so there'll be another thing or two on the list before long.

Random, smaller gifts include some colgne, a label-maker (from my little brother, if you can believe that), a Troy Polamalu t-shirt, a somewhat oversized mug, and a thermal coffee mug-like thing, to name a few.

Sure did. He told me he wasn't going to get anyone anything this year (for a jaw-droppingly selfish reason that I don't care to discuss), so I decided to save the money I was going to spend on him and give my sister extra :D . I mean she's only 17, and makes maybe 50 pounds a month doing typing work, and yet she still found a way to give gifts to friends and family, so that makes my brother, who manages a shop, look that much worse.

I took my dad and step-mum out to dinner at a chinese restaraunt for their gift. (I was short on funds this year, but I still did something.)

Yes, Christmas in my family is a time to spite each other just as much as it is a time to give. LOL.

The BBC adaptation was great though. Brings back such fond memories of my childhood just hearing about it.

Well, I didn't exactly get Christmas presents but, here's what I got.

Flowmasters for my car, some clothes, The Return of the King Extended Edition, a really big book on WWII, and some cash.

OMG! he was on my wish list too! I didn't get him either. . .:(

I did get clothes. Well I got money for which to buy clothes. Oh and my daddy bought me this adorable outfit because the price was so good: a merlot colored cashmere sweater dress with a deep V-neck (originally $70, marked down to $20) and black leggings (originally $30, marked down to $8). Now I just need to find a cute wide, black belt.

From my parents, a 160 gig removable hard drive that my mum gave me the money for cos she'd probably buy me a steering wheel cover or something silly like that and 50 quid on top of it.

My brothers and I who still live in our parent's house did a Secret Santa type deal.
Unfortunately I got my piss-poor 16-year-old brother so I made do with 2 robert ludlum books and a lottery scratch card.

My older bro has moved out but still visits when he gets too lazy to cook. He came for christmas dinner and bought us all some small gifts. The bright spark bought me a harmonica cos I have such an ear for music (I'm more tone-deaf than Beethoven! The dog and the composer).

On the upside I just got the bro I picked out a jacket and a few quid for himself so he was sorted. That left me flush with a few bob so I went nuts buying myself clothes and an annual treat of one computer game (I don't play often enough to buy loads and they seem to be the same strategy type games that I get every time anyway).

Eventually my bro did break down and get me something, a DVD set of the animated series The Tick, which was always a favourite of mine. I haven't seen the Tick in ages, and it still holds up incredibly well. Hilarious. This is me scrambling to get him a belated gift, too. lol.
