wow! whole new concept!! Sci Fi kung fu, mixed with a total absence of cliches i hope this starts something. The movie started out great and original, then deterorated into and average Jet Li movie- not saying it wasnt enjoyable but i think he gets old after awile. I liked it because im a big sci fi and kung fu fan. but still not a great movie like i was hoping it to be.

Did Village Roadshow produce this flick? If that's the case no doubt, Joel Silver wanted some "Matrix-esque" scenes in it.
This movie was awful...Instead of paying attention to how interesting the story could have been, it just showed a bunch of typical action cliches mixed with tedious fight scenes. The movie isn't about parallel universes or God or whatever, it's about how cool Jet Li is. And he might be cool, but not cool enough to sustain 2 hours of dreck.
It was only 90 minutes, Steve. :D I thought this movie was exactly what it was supposed to be. Actually, I think it was a bit above that. I expected almost no plot: some stupid thing about him being "The Chosen One" or something dumb like that. Something about destiny. The actual plot was much, much cooler. I do think they should have expanded on it, however. It had so much more potential...but, as it stands, I went for some kick-a** fighting, and that's what I got. I'm satifised.
