Universal has let me know they have officially announced the release of Peter Jackson's King Kong: Deluxe Extended Edition, which will be hitting store shelves November 14th. There will be an exclusive 3-disc edition available in Anamorphic Widescreen, along with the same 3-disc version packaged in a gift box. Extras (expect loads of them) and features have yet TBC, please stay tuned as soon as further details arrive.

The 3-Disc edition will come will come with a SRP of $34.98, while the giftset will come with a SRP of $79.98.

Did we expect anything else from mastermind Peter Jackson. I probably won't be buying the deluxe version, but I did enjoy the movie alot. Adien Brody was wonderful.
