My hair has gotten so long it's curling at the ends. I never had curly hair when I was younger. How can I just start to get it now?!! weird.....so am getting it cut today because I can't be bothered combing it flat every day (plus by the end of the day it's all mental again anyway). It's ok people I'm a uni student and am allowed to have crazy hair, it's probably the only time when i'll be able to. Between school and working full-time you can have a little experiment, well that's what my hair-dresser tells me :p. Although one of the benefits of having short hair is that you can literally chuck some clothes on and leave so I might retreat back to that.......nice thread :D

Hi and welcome to my share a thought post! I'm sad to say this is not where the magic is going to happen. Random happening:
I dressed up as a punk tonight....well probably not the traditional sort of punk. It was a party that had the theme 'black and white', so I put on a nice shirt and pants. Rolled up my sleeves. pulled my tie a few inches from my neck. Made my hair all crazy with Gel. Put hobo gloves on, a freaky necklace and some wrist bands. The only thing missing was the eyeliner which I had to fight my sister in order to get her away from my face.......she always wanted a little sister you see :(.......nah I'm just being melodramatic :p . Anyway it was a cool party and the birthday girl wore a bright red dress, making her stand out heaps. The whole idea was awesome and everyone looked great :D

My daughter is awful cute...even if she did tell me off when I told her to brush her teeth this morning. I have only myself to blame for this. Though I was very proud earlier today when the gent behind the counter at the local deli complimented her on how cute she is. Then like a tidal wave of a tiny Last laced with an angelic little voice she replied without a second thought... that he was way too old for her and that she didn't like his giant eyebrow.

ive had that dream myself... i got the idea from a Mcdonalds commercial when i was about 11. two twins that have the power to stop time and switch roles whenever they wanted to... the family is sitting and eating at mcdonalds, time stops, she walks up to the table and goes "you owe me!" and makes her switch... and i thought that was so cool!

my best friend used to have long straight hair. Then a few years back went and got it cut and they chopped it off.. umm. a tad too short! hah! it was like a boys haircut. yet girly :P
Anyway as it started to grow it also curled so now she has curley/wavey hair. I love it but she hates it!
My hair gets curly when long, too, but i cant complain- because the ladies seem to approve.
My father sure wont, though, when i go home for thanksgiving...

Have you asked a doctor about it (back specialist or other). Or do you mean you can only sleep on your side or stomach, which sounds a bit like me. A good pillow really helps me when my back isn't feeling great (lifting something too heavy for me). You could look into other types of beds cause I think there are certain ones for people who have trouble with their backs, maybe you could get one that fitted you back and thus a good sleep is a certainty.
Do you want to know something that helped me sleep on my back once. I imagined somebody was in my room and if I opened my eyes they would see and attack me, so I forced myself to stay perfectly still and not toss and turn (as I usually do). It worked I fell asleep in about 5 minutes :p

Maybe you should check out some sites on the web or check out some books from the library on sleep techniques. Maybe certain foods would help, maybe a type of mattress, maybe exercises you could do? I'm no expert for sure but if it's affecting your normal functioning then you should do something about it because back pains are the worst cause they affect everything you do; almost every movement can bring you pain if you're back's not in the best shape.
Its all in the mind- i can tell you that much. What i need is a bed that doesnt allow me to sleep in any other position but on my back. After a few months, i reckon i'd be right as rain.

Try sleeping with a heavy pillow on your stomach or chest, make your body think you are lying on your stomach.
I just spent 30 minutes spinning coins on my desk and watching them crash into each other. The scary part: i was thouroughly amused...

I can't share a thought because:
1. I'm too cheap and mean to share; and
2. I need all the thoughts I have; I have none spare to share :p
Ash- you get 100 'Z points' for being swell. E? You get a few points for having a name that is easy to shorten, to one letter actually. 10 points. Glitter gets more for being swell too. Oh, and not to belittle the points i've already given- but whoever wants some can have some too. ;)

Gladiator................love Russell Crowe. Of course you may want to see it for different reasons.
I have to say Gladiator too because the vexed Phoenix is amazingly funny.
Good choice, I think fight club is a bit heavy for a hangover :yup:
