Google Earth is incredible, my house and halls come up quite clear. I don't have it but my flatmate does. Noticed how North Korea is just grass?

I love how where I am from is just one big hazy green and red blob. This only confirms my thinking that I come from the back end of nowhere...

For those in the US and a few other countries, www.locallive.com has aerial photos of your house too, but online. It's kinda unsettling, but at the same time, I've found it very useful when going someplace for the first time.

My part of Ireland comes out as a big blur on Google Earth (the Provies must have one of those anti-satellite popguns) so here's the last house we had in England. Dark roof...

The awesome 90ish year old house I grew up in, until I was 13:

Which is in the dead center of beautiful St. Louis, MO (which is not so beautiful from the sky):

From there I moved to Manassas, VA

As you can tell, there is just a teeny-tiny difference between the two...I actually tried getting a shot of my house, but you can't even see it because of the trees.

And finally, Tallahassee, FL...where I've lived for the past two years and for then next two months until I graduate and head back up to the northern VA area.

Here is the c****y little place I live at. My flat is part of the stand alone building just shy of the centre. That little grass bit is my fornt garden.

Just past my house it becomes all green and blurry :p. I could spot my roof though which was cool. I'm suprised about how much detail there is for somewhere like Melbourne. I'm guessing the US probably has the most detailed shots
