I know I am guilty of this but sometimes i get bothered with all the threads about whose leaving and whose coming back and i think a subforum dedicated to this kind of thing would be so cool. That way everyone can keep track of who is where and who is gone a whole lot better. Just my .02$.

okay, you have to get her out of your head, and it won't be easy. I find it's easier to forget when I distract myself with something, usually something kinda dangerous, but that's just me. You need to do other things though, that'll help, a lot.

I did post pictures last year, we go to South africa once a year as my hsb's Mother lives there, she is 86 and doesn't travel anymore. we try to go somewhere else to make the trip more interesting, this year we deciede on Namibia, last year we went to England.:D

I do not consider myself vain or unrealistic, nor do I know myself to have higher-than-normal-standards, look-wise. THIS is not a trophy woman :nope: - this is a woman one would be with because one loves her, or because she has clearly demonstrated moral decay (read: willing and ready to have sex, real soon. show me the money, baby!).

There is nothing wrong with liking, loving, or even marrying an average or unnattractive person. One would only hope they like/love you back!

Now before you rip my head off, understand that (1) I know a girl that dates a mob guy that is in his 60s. The man bought her a condo, a car, flies here hither and yon exotic location for etc., etc.

She is considered incredibly gorgeous in the circle I am currently in, and even when she was around I couldnt stand her company. I dont even find her flawless (she IS flawed in appearance), but she looks better than average or at least in the running with good looking people. She is incredibly vain, shallow, self-centered, selfish, petty and even viciously mean to others in observation and commentary. I avoided her presence, because I cant bear people who are pitilessly cruel to others, and without provocation.

I pity her. Why? Because she cries herself to sleep at night, and if you get her drunk enough - she is my age, likes guys our age, wants to have a family and a life, but that man owns her. Unless he dies, or finds a younger model, she's not going anywhere.

And now? Another nicer chick who I know, who is also a looker, albeit much kinder, is being propositioned by a 60 year old doctor and although she's been telling him NO for months, suddenly she is strongly considering just giving in for monetary reasons. It is the dumbest thing I have ever heard, and I and some of the guys have been trying to talk sense to her - this is not a scenario you can escape unscathed!

Hey Peeps, you may have noticed I haven't been around as much lately. Well unfortunately Its only going to get worse. I'm busy trying to plan the wedding before I stay on a new Theatre show. As once I start on the show I'll be working 8am till 10pm for approximately a month while the show Bumps in (gets set up) and rehersals ensue. So you won't see much of me at all. I will pop in as much as I can and do my best to keep up with everything, but unfortunately I can't make any promises.

There is a light at the end of the tunnel which is that hopefully in about a fortnight I will be getting an iPhone which hopefully makes for viewing of MoFo while I'm out and about.

Anyway even though you will hopfully see me about, I just wanted to explain that I havn't gotten bored and run off. I'm just crazy busy.

Well, jury duty's all wrapped up. The selection process was brutal and fairly unpleasant, and the whole thing was obviously a huge distraction, but once the case began it was pretty interesting, and there are some small stories about the deliberation to tell. Nothing too Fonda-ish, as adi mentioned, but things did get fairly contentious a few times. I'll start a thread a little later just to run through the experience, just in case anyone's interested. :)
