Graphic Novels / Subscriptions

I'll be honest, my interest was only really sparked after the Sin City movie and i'm quite tempted to join here (http://www.fsf.co.uk/click/) and get 2 Sin City, 1 Watchmen, 1 V for Vendetta and 3 Sandman Graphic Novels for only £9.99 when i join.

The thread is two fold:

1st who reads/reccomends what Graphic Novels.

2nd whether the subscription deal is worth while. Their site seems a bit empty and i've never done a subscription thing like this before, do the newsletters where you MUST buy something have decent ranges in your experiences and are they all over priced?

I don't fully understand the deal they have going. Is this like one of those cd clubs where you buy a certain innitial number at a ridiculously cheap rate and then are obligated to buy a set amount of titles at normal rate for a set amount of time? If so, that seems like a shamefully weak list of titles and variety to me. The Watchmen is probably the only title on that list that I'd consider a must-buy. Also, this may be picky, but that site doesn't even give proper credit to their titles. The artist on V for Vendetta was David Lloyd, not Alan. The artist on Watchmen was Dave Gibbons - noteably absent on there.

Anywho, my short list of great "graphic novels" goes something like this

Yeah, you got the subscription thing right. I got an email offering me those 7 g/ns for £10. Think i'll give it a miss.
