Looks like he's adapting the "Band of Brothers" concept to the Old West. I'm intrigued and I hope and believe one of the swedish TV channels will buy it.

watched part II this weekend. So far, it's been an interesting series. I tend to find myself waiting for the Indian sections, as they are more interesting to me. Thunder-Heart Woman is a great character, as well as the Lakota boys. I did think they telegraphed the surprises in the second insallment, and I saw them all coming. The first episode kept me guessing but for instance:

The death of the two Wheeler girls, one in the river, the other after a wagon accident. I saw these things coming because of the not-so-subtle direction in this episode. When Rachel got hurt, it was so obvious, all watching were yelling at the screen, "The winch is going to break, best not stand in front of the wagons girl!!"

Regardless, minor quibbles with an otherwise fantastic historical adventure. It is quite sad in places, as well....

We shall be tuning in thius week for Episode III.

Well, I passed out and missed the last 45 minutes of this weeks episode. Anyone care to fill me in? Here is where I left off:

Light Shines finding Jacob was the last thing I remember. I saw Jethro drown trying to get the gold, and the last I saw of Dog Star, his brother was showing him the vista with the smoke infringing on their land.

It should be on again sometime this week... sure you don't want to try to catch it again first? And if not, as I recall, Susan is a writer so would be much better at catching you up then I would be... :yup:

Unfortunately, there are only three showings per week of the show, and the last showing was last night. According to the TNT site anyway. I shall await Susan to fill me in... :)

Thans Susan. I am all caught up now. :) I had gone to the site, but only glaced the splash page, and didn't dig too deep.
