Well, Mr Zilla, I found a few things somewhat interesting, despite the small sampling of respondents.

I was not suprised by the average age, but I find it interesting that only three people are within 4 years of the average - most are much older or much younger.

Zodiacally speaking :D, the highest percentage of responses were of the same sign as the board's owner. Coincidence? Perhaps.

Location - while 70% of respondents are in the US, 30% from the rest of the world is pretty high, in comparison to another board I could name.

Politics - I was a bit suprised that the liberals outnumber the conservatives and moderates combined. Possibly liberals are just more prone to filling out questionnaires, however. :D

Employment - again, in comparison to another board, Mofos appear much more employable. Also, much more polite. In this case, I doubt there is coincidence.

If anybody (but chicagofrog) wants to suggest a better way to divide up world geography, have at it. If I do this next year, I'll do a fresh thread and use whatever everyone thinks is a better division. With around 50 respondants (this year there were 41, 10 more than last year) I think the most areas we'd want to divide it into would be like 10.

Also, any suggestions you have for other questions are welcome. I'm thinking about adding a single/in a relationship/married option.

Lastly, I have this all as a spreadsheet on my hard drive. It's not hard to update it, if anyone still wants to add their data. :)

Well, here's my thinking on this thread: People are more than willing to write their specific religion, and exactly where they live, and what exactly their politics are, in their own posts. I'm not trying to squelch anyone's individuality, or discount their particular special group. And I am sure that any individual allegiances that are strongly felt will be listed - people tend to do that.

As this is a demographics compilation though, breaking down everything specifically when we have only 50 respondants would make a compilation almost pointless. So I've tried to break things down into large enough chunks to show a little trending. Without that, we might as well simply list them in individual posts and leave it at that. If there's no value to some individuals in seeing trends, they can still read the info in the posts.
