I can remember having 'lightsaber' fights with old strip lights in my ill-spent youth. They made a great pop sound when smashing.

Never thought of pouring petrol into them though.... hmmm

This is possibly the funniest thing i've ever seen, just for background, this kid filmed himself in school, on their cameras but forgot to delete the footage and it got posted on the net. He sued, not sure if he got anything but i heard he's loaded on royalties from the videos. Be sure to watch the remixs as well.
