Domain Names/Websites

Alright everyone: if you have a website, or own any domain names, list them here! I'll post my list of domains (whole bunch of them) later on I guess. As for my sites, I run this site, of course, I used to run eDevCafe.com, and I co-own TheStands.com. Oh, and I own WarningTrack.net, but it's completely dormant.

hey - how can you just own all those domains, i mean, aren't you paying per year/two years, etc, and not even using it, it seems like such a waste ...

i dunno chris, if you want mine. considering our past discussion. my nbci sites are technically dead anyway, i plan to create a new personal site, but prolly not for a while. the only one i will really work on regularly, i think, is the erotic lit site, which i don't think you want to post, or do you not care? well if it's listed under me, i guess people can go if they choose.

No big deal...that debate has run it's course. Feel free to post the link, so long as it's clear to anyone who sees is that it leads to erotic literature.

The domain thing isn't a big waste...I mean, there's always the chance someone will want to buy your domain, or you'll find time/interest in it. It may seem like alot if you're planning to go with someplace like Network Solutions though...they charge $70 over 2 years, which is ridiculous. I get mine for $13.50 a year from 000domains.com

I've hidden a few on here...for reasons that may be apparent to you all later down the line. :D Anyway, SpunkyJunk was a site my brother was thinking of making, but it never went anywhere. It's just sitting there now...I'm gonna let it expire.

I really like MovieForums.com, Offsubject.com, VideoGameForums.com, and a few of the shorter ones at the top. The price does add up over time, but I can always let them expire, and I usually register them for just one year, so I can renew them if I still feel I want it.

Believe it or not, I think I will turn 3 or 4 of those into sites. If I'm lucky, I'll sell some of the others. Selling just one can usually fund the registration of over half a dozen others, so it's worth the risk. :)

If you ever want any advice on this stuff (a good webhost, good place to register a domain name), Miriam, just let me know. I live, eat, and breath websites, so I take pleasure in it. :)
