Through the expert control of subdued and focused lighting, combined with underexposing black & white film stock, Lynch creates layers of atmosphere that transforms Eraserhead from a mere movie to a film that is on par with the expressionistic painter, Edvard Munch.

This is my least favourite of Lynch's films, for the simple fact that I never was interested in what little story there was. It didn't seem to go anywhere and for me to be invested in a film it has to be telling a story, one that I can understand, comprehend, or at the very least, try to look more into.
