jet li

Out of all my mates am the only Jet li fan, according to them he's overrated as an actor and a martial artist. I think you just have to watch films such as "The One" and "Cradle to the Grave" to appreciate the skills he has in both aspects. What do the rest of you think?

Jet Li is a good Martial Artist. But to be known as a good "Martial Arts Actor" you have to be in good films. In my opinion "The One" (I HATE Jason Statham's accent in this movie!) and "Cradle 2 the Grave" are both pretty weak. Good action, but everything else is crap. Say if Jet Li were in films similar to old John Woo films or "Enter the Dragon", he'd have better credibility. He's an idiot, he should have done Matrix Reloaded and Matrix Revolutions. Instead of whinning about being paid more money. Then his star-rating would have gone straight up.

I know he's been in films like "Kiss of the Dragon" and "Once upon Time in China", but they're still pretty poo.
